Quaint Texas eateries never fail to surprise us. Situated in the same downtown historic building as the popular BnB, the Ant Street Inn, the Brenham Grill was a marvel of seafood, steaks, Tex-Mex, and homemade Italian! This award-winning family run restaurant was appreciated not just for the variety of it's menu and super friendly service, but even more so for... More

Met friends on Sat. Night during a downtown festival, Hot Nights Cool Tunes. Had a bit of a wait but there were 6 of us and they are small. No worries, once we were seated, things ran smoothly, food was good and the fresh bread with oil/herbs was amazing, we asked for more.

We happen into the Grill more or less accidentally while visiting the area for other reasons. Given the size of the group my expectations for a fine dining experience were not high. That said, I believe everyone was happy enough with the service, the staff, the menu, and so forth. We arrived shortly before noon and we were back out... More

We were staying at the Ant Street Inn and had reservations for a show at the Unity Theater. Due to unexpected emergencies at home, we got away later than we had hoped. Because we were running behind, we deided to give the Brenham Grill a try since it was conveniently located right off of the lobby of the inn. We... More

Their mexican food options were great. The margaritas not so much. Breakfasts were excellent, and made to order.

We were in Somerville for the weekend and decided to attend the Bluebonnet Festival in Chappell Hill. We were looking for a place to eat breakfast so decide to drive through the town of Brenham for a place to eat breakfast. This establishment had an "open" sign so we decided to try it. Cute place. Lots of stained glass. Very... More

The food is very average but it's a nice quiet place to meet friends and have conversation. Service is not the greatest but staff is very friendly and try hard to accommodate. Just a nicer atmosphere than Chili's or Applebee's where it's always so noisy and food is no better in my opinion. If you're in downtown Brenham give them... More

If you're looking for cheap, delicious food that is quick and not fast food, you are in the correct spot. Food is amazing and affordable. I always stop here if I am in town at dinnertime.

We were in Brenham this past weekend and was looking for a nice place to eat downtown for dinner after the Uptown Swirl Event. Inside the Ant Street Inn was a nice looking restaurant...small but looked less "café/soda fountainish" than most places in Brenham. There was a short wait and we were seated and were handed menus and our drink... More
