We dined a few times at Fredo's, and the experience has been consistent. The wait was fairly short on a busy weekend, the atmosphere was cosy, colorful but not too noisy. The Italian Menu dishes were classic and were prepared well. The chicken Parmesan was nice and the spaghetti and meat sauce was very good. This is not an elite... More

Staff was friendly and attentive. Good atmosphere. Chicken Parmesan was really good. Would recommend this place to everyone.

We have eaten their 3 times now, and each time has been fantastic.. Service very good the ambiance great especially for Boerne... We have decided that this is one of our favorite restaurants in the area.. If you want a nice change try them you won't be disappointed... I read the other reviews and the bad ones and all I... I'd never been here before so didn't know it had a new owner. It's almost like I ate at a different place than some of the earlier reviewers. Hubby and I stopped for lunch one day last week and both had the Big Italy sandwich (salami, capicola, mortadella, pepperoni, parmesan, mozzarella, and garnishes) with a side salad. I had a... More

We were looking for a place to eat some "italian" food while in Boerne and decided to give Fredo's a try. Immediately noticeable was how the new owner had spruced up the place. Fresh paint, clean floors, nice ambiance . . . major improvement since Lorenitas somewhat scrappy / scrubby appearance. This felt more like a cozy neighborhood eatery with... More

My wife and I had dinner last night with some friends. The place was busy but the service was good. The food on a scale of 1 to 10 was about a 5. Not bad but not wow great either. We had Calamari for an appetizer and it was pretty good. Not over cooked like so many places do. I... More

I am compelled to write my first restaurant review after visiting Fredo's Ristorante last night. As a world traveler and one who has had some of the best Italian food in Italy, this was a poor example of "Italian-style" food. I had the lasagna which I could not eat, it was more like pulled pork/beef with a few slices of... More

We've been to Fredo's twice. The first time they were two down in their waitstaff and they were swamped. We were not in a hurry and hung out in the nice bar area. I had to wait a while for my wife's prosecco, but when I got it I was impressed. The bartender poured it into a tall glass, took... More

Last night we took the boys to Fredo's Italian Restaurant in Boerne. At first we were impressed by the cleanliness of the outside and then also impressed by the nice atmosphere inside. The restaurant is obviously in an older building, but with the fresh paint and nice decor, it felt new. We were promptly seated and our drinks brought to... More

Ate here for the first time with a group of ten for a birthday lunch. We were excited to try it for the first time. When we arrived we informed them that we had to be out in 1 hr 15min to get back to the office. The service was horrible. There was no attempt to serve us in a... More
