Excellent atmosphere, food and service

We will be back to eat on our next visit to Boerne. Make a reservation or you may not get in. I had the quail and it was fantastic. Two quail filled with a cranberry and rice dressing. Definitely, finger licking good! Service was excellent and our server, Brook, was very attentive.

The environment, the food, the waitstaff are all part of this wonderful restaurant hidden away a block or two off the main streets, which one would never discover without research before selecting a place to eat in Boerne. Simply put, this is the best restaurant in town, bar none!

Excellent management that actually cares about our experience at this restaurant. The food was fabulous. My hubby and I have decided to make it our date night spot.

We stayed at a B&B in Comfort and there was no place to eat. Checked for restaurants nearby on the phone and found this place. We made reservation although it was a Tuesday evening. From the greater to the waitstaff everything was perfect for an anniversary dinner. Had the filet topped with crab, cooked to perfection. Probably the best filet... More

My wife's pasta was excellent. My steak was slightly over cooked but still had a better flavor than any other I have had. I was not upset with the steak but the staff went above and beyond to make are we were happy. Great experience!

My husband and I visit this place about every week. Everything is very tasty, but I adore their soups. Great service and ambience.

I was advised not to bother but was that ever the worst advice! I had passed earlier in the week and lunch was jammin'. I asked a few folks not very excited! The setting is lovely on the shore of Cibolo Creek inside, outside take you pick! My choice was the Patio along the rail and was very pleased! The... More

We were recommended to this restaurant, excellent service , good menu lots of choice the fish is especially good. The wines are good. Definitely not a place for children although they are allowed. Would definitely return, but for something special as it is a little pricey.

For such an expensive restaurant, the tables are too close and the space is limited so you can hear all the conversations in the room. Views are amazing but we were never asked about having a second cup of wine or bread. My daughters pasta came 10 minutes later (pasta!!), personnel was not trying at all to help with suggestions.... My wife and I were very eager to try this establishment out, as we had heard a good deal of praise about it when doing our research on places to eat. Arriving at 2pm for a Saturday lunch, we were quickly seated on the patio and attended to by our server. Fast forward through the wine, salmon & scallops, medium... More
