Okay let's start with it is a truck stop. For a very long time. Truck stops succeed because they have good food. It is in Boerne so it is not cheap because nothing in the Hill Country that I have seen is cheap. I figured I could find good huevos rancheros there. After all I was in a South Texas... More

i use to eat here several times a week starting in about 2009 and it was good, over time the service has really gone down hill. the food is still good if you go at lunch time but not so much at dinner. today at lunch the time in line to order was about 5min then 36 min for the... More

If you want to remince of the old highway greasy spoons, this is the place. It's not cheap, so go to revive the memory only. There are lots of better places to eat nearby for better value, service and taste. But, it does serve its purpose and there's something comforting about sitting in the window watching the cars go by... More

All decent homemade food. Good service. Was traveling in RV with tow vehicle and parked in back away from everyone. There were some undesirables back where we parked and they were blocking my RV and eying up my new tow vehicle. I had to ask them to move so I could get out but they were stalling like they were... Great American burgers & fries! It's not McD's fast food, so expect nostalgia and local roadside diner atmosphere. Order at the counter and get your number. The club sandwich is really good and a lot to eat. Breakfast tacos are excellent and served all day. It's not fancy, but the good food and unique local feel makes it a good... More

I frequently travel that stretch of I-10 and have made this my stop of choice. The food is good, nothing outstanding, and reliable. The pico de gallo they house make is outstanding. It's pretty hot, but if you like it that way this is as good as it gets. It's easy off, easy on to the freeway, has a large... More

Pros: Fantastic food, friendly servce, you won't walk away hungry! Cons: Flagstop Cafe is only about 2.5 miles from my house and that is WAY too close! In the first place, I haven't had anything at Flagstop that wasn't at least "good". Their fried chicken is AWESOME! their fried mushrooms are also great. Their burgers are huge and taste great.... Great for an early morning breakfast! Go with the Croussant Sandwich...you will not be dissappointed! Flagstop Cafe was very clean including the restrooms. Friendly staff with just the right amount of service. By the time we finished eating, there was a line of customers. Happy with choice of starting the day with breakfast here! Mmm mmm good!!!

The moment they re-added the "all day breakfast" was the day they made the right choice, Biscuits, Gravy, Tacos, Croissant Sandwiches, Cinnamon Rolls and Pancakes. This is what they do and they do it well! A great start to a Hill Country exploration!
