We had Sunday brunch. Very average. The service is pleasant, but quite slow. My wife's pan fried potatoes were lukewarm to cool. Her eggs Benedict tasted good, but there was scant sauce. My Reuben was held together with toothpicks. Problem was that the bottom half of of the sandwich had slid apart, so the toothpicks were holding a sandwich which... More

I went there for brunch with some friends. Service is very slow and we had to ask for things several times. The waitress had an unhappy expression the whole time. The food was good and the outside seating is nice if the weather is nice. Too bad they can't fix the service and make this a great place to eat.

Quaint place on river road. Lovely atmosphere We had the sausage plate with 3 sausages each. Our favorite was the Vienna bratwurst. The buffalo, venison, boar sausages were excellent. The jalapeño kielbasa rocked but was SPICY. I highly recommend.

The restaurant is simple and easily missed on Hwy 46. If you miss it, turn right and park in public parking lot. The food is carefully cooked and the servers are wonderful. We stopped for breakfast, but plan to return for lunch. This experience brought us back to our time in Germany

My husband is in heaven--the buttermilk pancakes are just like his Swedish grandmother used to make! I am not a pancake girl myself but must admit that they are very good.

We hike with our pets. It was nice to stop for lunch and sit outside with our dogs and get something to eat afterwards. The food was great. No complaints here.

I was not blown away but I did enjoy my food, wanted to sit outside but each time flies an issue so part of the charm is to sit out and see the river. Food is average not great but interesting, the dessert was the best part. Have been there twice so probably won't go back, service not good, but... More

We were looking for a different place to have lunch near Boerne. We decided to stop at Little Gretel and found a very upscale and quiet restaurant. This was a weekday. We had Schnitzel and it was wonderful. It was not what I consider a traditional Bavarian Schnitzel but I really enjoyed the flavor. The service was excellent. Little Gretel... More

The atmosphere is very happy and hard working. The food is out standing and prepared and looks amazing. The hostess are very pretty and happy workers and are very helpful to the customers. All around is a spectacular atmosphere.
