We ate at Little Gretel with our 9, 7, and 3 year olds as well as four adults. We had four different adult entrees, clam chowder, a macaroni and cheese kids meal and lentil soup. Everybody loved everything they ordered. The Jaeger Snitzel with sauerkraut was exceptionally delicious! Their german salad is to die for! We also enjoyed dessert which... More

Finally a truly great place to get excellent German food in Boerne. Atmospher is wonderful. Food is awesome and pricy. This is an upscale restaurant not a beer garden. European cuisine. Don't show up right when they open though as the chef may not have everything ready as was our experience.

Great food and friendly staff. Wouldn't recommend going if you're in a hurry, though. Good food takes time. It's across the street from the river so it's got a nice view and a huge outdoor eating area.

Overpriced, and definitely not fine dining. The only thing worthwhile are the kolaches, if you can afford them. Served processed cheese slices to my daughter. That a restaurant that considers itself fine dining has processed cheese in its kitchen should tell you all you need to know. Also, serially understaffed.

Five members of my family and I ate breakfast here on a Saturday morning. The place is very popular and justifiably so. The food and service were very good; all of us enjoyed our meals. My pancakes, bacon, eggs and coffee were very good. I can recommend this restaurant for breakfast highly.

We had Sunday brunch. Very average. The service is pleasant, but quite slow. My wife's pan fried potatoes were lukewarm to cool. Her eggs Benedict tasted good, but there was scant sauce. My Reuben was held together with toothpicks. Problem was that the bottom half of of the sandwich had slid apart, so the toothpicks were holding a sandwich which... More

I went there for brunch with some friends. Service is very slow and we had to ask for things several times. The waitress had an unhappy expression the whole time. The food was good and the outside seating is nice if the weather is nice. Too bad they can't fix the service and make this a great place to eat.

Quaint place on river road. Lovely atmosphere We had the sausage plate with 3 sausages each. Our favorite was the Vienna bratwurst. The buffalo, venison, boar sausages were excellent. The jalapeño kielbasa rocked but was SPICY. I highly recommend.

The restaurant is simple and easily missed on Hwy 46. If you miss it, turn right and park in public parking lot. The food is carefully cooked and the servers are wonderful. We stopped for breakfast, but plan to return for lunch. This experience brought us back to our time in Germany
