Good place for gourmet sandwiches/soups

Neat old building housing this little sandwich/soup restaurant. Surprisingly good food that's a little pricey but worth it. The local elderly and business people were eating here which tells you it's a hidden secret worth finding. We especially loved the peach tea they served. Has a formal near... read more

Has a formal near fine dining atmosphere, but still considered a casual lunch.

Sorry this isn't a review. More of a comment torwards Diane up top. Never even eaten here but was looking to find a place jn Boerne. The power of negativity is insane. This lady has been eating here for years which either means she really enjoyed it or is insane, but only takes the time to say anything about this... More

I went to lunch with 7 other ladies for lunch. I had the Chicken Salad, which was very good and a most generous portion. All liked their meal, which some had the Quiche and one person had the Chicken Pot Pie. They serve homemade cheese yeast rolls before the meal and those were good also. You get a paper menu... More

My husband and I have been coming here for years and I was craving their gumbo. I brought a friend, whom I had told about all the good things they had for lunch. The first clue should have been no waiting line at noon. This was a couple of days before Christmas. The gumbo was literally celery soup. Of course... More

I love their quiche especially, and the chicken salad is also good. It’s a great place for lunch with friends. It’s cozy with a warm atmosphere. The service is good, timely. They give you a printed menu and you circle or check off your order and they take it. I like that way of ordering, this assures you get what... More

What a fun place for lunch! The service was pleasant and friendly. The rolls were great and the triplet salad was delicious. Worth another trip to try their quiche.

Their daily quiche is fabulous as is the spinach salad and tomato basil soup. They are pretty pricey for a soup and salad place but they are good. Everyone that works there is so nice.

The Peach Tree Cafe sits quietly in an old residence on Boerne's Main Street (aka Hauptstrasse) in the historical district. Appearances don't lie and it is 'cute' and clearly a ladies place for lunch. BUT the food is suprisingly good, freshly prepared although heavily slanted to the demographic...at least two daily quiches, nice salads etc. Fresh baked rolls were light... More

The food was excellent - ingredients were fresh - flavors were great. We sat on the patio since we had our dog with us and everyone was very nice and even brought our dog a treat.

My husband and I were in Boerne and decided to try the Peach Tree Cafe for lunch. He had Cream of Poblano soup and rolls and I had their quiche with their peach tea. The soup was delicious and the rolls had cheddar inside and were a fantastic light yeast roll. I had the ham and cheese quiche which came... More
