We have eaten at Papa Joe's in the past and the food was good. We tried again this time and it was terrible. Our salads were made from wilted lettuce and the pizza was below average. We understand new owners have taken over and you can tell the quality is gone. Our server did evidently did not want to serve... More

We like going to Papa Joey's, but trying to watch the weight is difficult here. The pizza is excellent - we get the Alfredo pizza with extras on it. It is located right on the square in Blanco with room in the back the overlooks the city park and the largest tree in Blanco County. They could loose the Italian... More

Joey's offers standard fare Italian and basic American menu. There were a lot of pizzas flying out the door and on tops of several tables. Appetizers, food and desserts were good. Beer and wine selection will satisfy. Service was good. View of the city common from part of dining room. will return

The eggplant parmesan and pizza's are to die for with views overlooking the park in the rear or the downtown square with the old courthouse where part of the modern day movie True Grit was filmed. After eating, whether shopping or walking through the park, you can work off the great eating.

Our group was bicycling across Texas and we stopped for the night in Blanco. This was one of the places recommended by a hotel manager. My husband and I split the spaghetti with meat sauce, and it was wonderful. I love Tiramisu and have it whenever eating at an Italian restaurant - so I've eaten my share of Tiramisu. But... More

I was really suprised with this little pizza joint in Blanco. It looked kind of small and like a little hole in the wall from the outside, but onced we walked in we were pleased with the atmosphere. The server reccomended a nice beer and helped me build my own pizza. I was in the mood for veggies with a... More

We loved the atmosphere - it's much bigger inside than it looks from the outside. The food was right up there with best Italian we have ever had. We would absolutely go back.

I had the pizza and it was the best I've eaten. The other 4 in my group had 4 different dishes and everyone raved about the wonderful flavors. We also enjoyed the music--Frank Sinatra and others. A nice change from the usual rock or country music you usually hear.

Awesome Spaghetti with meat sauce! And the Big Sandwich House Salads are great too. Didn't try the pizza, but it looked amazing. Wine and Beer was good, but kinda slow to be served, as our poor waitress was not allowed to serve it, only the bartender could??? But the food made up for it!
