It early on a Sunday afternoon when our family of four decided to drive about 90 miles northeast of Boerne,Texas to visit Pedernales Falls State Park (30 miles southwest of Austin). My wife had done some research and convinced us the best place for lunch would be the Redbud Cafe, Market & Pub in Blanco. Located at 410 1/2 4th... More

The Redbud is always good. Good sandwiches, good service, and if I drank beer, I'm sure it would be good. I can't add much to the other reviewers -- servers are friendly and efficient. This was the first time we'd been on a weekend for the live music and the band (Zydeco Blanco) was excellent and fun. Of course, it... More

They have the local beer, Real ale, on tap. Clean, friendly place. Nice ambiance for families. Live music in the evenings on the weekends. Amazing desserts including homemade cheesecake and huge yummy cookies. Great burger and sandwich options that were delicious. Would highly recommend.

We stopped on the way home from picking up our son from camp. Yum! Our group tried several different items on the menu and all were good. They also serve a varied selection of draft beers. Loved the lemon snickerdoodle cookie!

The Redbud uses mainly locally grown, in house baked and regional foods and brews. You're going to feel Soo Much better and Greener. The pottery shop next door is another interesting spot to shop.

The ads indicate that the food is fresh and local. It is. Simple preparation of good ingredients leads to a great lunch. A sidewalk table with a view of the historic Blanco Courthouse was our choice. I recommend this table if the weather is temperate like it is today.

We have been to the Redbud several times in our travels and always get a good meal and friendly wait staff. The food is served fresh and quickly. Good homemade cookies and baked goods. Wait staff brings out your order and keeps the refills coming on the drinks. Good salads, sandwiches, and soups. Nice and clean also!

We were here for the Lavender Festival. Blanco is a small town and there really isn't much to do at night, even Saturday. We stopped in for dinner and were pleasantly surprised to find a talented singer/guitarist who played a nice mix of music. This café has hot and cold sandwiches, soups, salads and desserts. You order at the counter... More

This is just flat the BEST place in Blanco to eat...in fact it's the best place for 30 miles to eat! We live in Blanco but go to San Antonio at least twice a week. Most times we just come on back to Blanco to eat instead of eating at any one of the 5000 restaurants in San Antonio! The... More
