We stopped here with friends that have eaten here before. Really great place to eat at. Food was fresh, The place has a lot of history inside it also. Service was great also. Will come back to this place if we are down in Texas again.

We were on our way home and while driving through Blanco, we decided to check out an antique store. When we asked for a suggestion of a restaurant, this one was recommended. What a wonderful surprise! This local spot had a large and varied menu. We enjoyed the tuna sandwich, Blanco burger, potato salad and various cookies. This building was... More

We decided to try this out on a road trip and just happened to be hungry at the right time. Food was excellent, people were nice, and you could tell by the parking lot it was the best in town.

Had a turkey sammich and blackened fish tacos. Both were pretty good. Older country digs with good beer selection. It does take awhile (30 mins with a half full restaurant) to get your food so don't be in a hurry.

We met friends for lunch at the Redbud and we will be back. It is getting harder to find a simple cafe setting in Texas, not homogenized or faux quaint. The simple Texas- style room, decorated only with Blanco County rain charts on the metal walls and colorful Mexican oil cloths on the tables provided a refreshingly simple setting for... More

We stopped for lunch while antiquing on the square. I had the Blaze of Glory Burger (angus beef patty, on a jalapeño sourdough bun, with pepper jack cheese, grilled japaleño and serrano peppers, lettuce, tomato and sriracha mayo) which lived up to its name. The bun was excellent, the burger was fat and perfectly cooked, and the peppers blistered my... More

Fantastic restaurant on the square in Blanco offering outstanding sandwiches, salads, burgers, homemade desserts, and phenomenal Real Ale on tap! Since they are just down the road from Real Ale, you will find beers here that are not available anywhere else! Every Friday and Saturday night, they have live music for free - just be sure to be generous in... More

Occasionally, we eat lunch here. The sandwiches and salads are always very good and dependable. Unfortunately, what is also dependable is their thin and bland soups. I have had or tasted a variety of their soups on almost a dozen occasions over about two years. Each time my hopes of a thick, hearty bowl of rich flavors is washed away.... More

Consistently good food. The Blanco Burger is addictive. Great selection of beers on tap. Good live music on weekends. Hometown atmosphere. Love this place!

Great food and lots of stuff to choose from for everybody. Music on Fridays, maybe Saturdays is local bands of the Texas variety. My old friend Max Butler plays there every month or so.
