The Uptown Blanco Restaurant has become one of our favorites for taking family and friends out to dinner. Both the food and wine selection were excellent. Service was outstanding and added to a night when live entertainment (New Orleans Jazz) was playing made this a wonderful evening to remember. PS: Bread pudding was suburb,

When we visited the restaurant we found out it has been around for years. We live at Canyon Lake and go through Blanco often-- and we didn't even know it was there. We are thrilled to have found it and plan to visit often. Upon entering we met a lovely hostess who lead us into the quaint dining area. Crisp... More

This is a beautiful restaurant. We went when it first opened, but was rather expensive for just a quick meal locally. However, for lunch they have added a "petite" portion, which is a more reasonable size portion and a fair price. Food is good, but front of house staff should remember they have a job because of customers. Not that... More

Expensive dishes, overpriced wines, and BAD service...consistently bad service. Took a group of 7 of us on a Sun evening. We were one of 2 tables in the place and couldn't get service! When we wanted to order dessert the waitress (who should have never been given the job since she was never trained to wait tables) was disgusted that... More

Went here for brunch on Sunday and all I have to say is AMAZING! Great drive from New Braunfels as well. My husband and I love this place. Thank you for the great food!

We stopped at the Uptown on a Sunday two weeks ago for lunch and we lost the lottery when it came to our waitress. We were seated at a table around a corner, by a window, and Echoe came by a few minutes later to take our orders. We did not order anything that was difficult, ordering straight from the... More

Just got back from a Valentine Dinner that was $50 a person. There was no host or hostess out front which made it difficult for the wait staff to attend to tables on such a busy night. My husband had prime rib with crab legs. The crab legs were cold and stale. Could not crack them because they were too... More

A group of us went to the Uptown Blanco Restaurant for brunch yesterday. It isn't the largest brunch (doesn't compare to that of a big hotel) but everything offered is very good. At $15 for the brunch it is a good value. In addition, you can order from the menu which is especially good if you don't want the volume... More

The restaurant is beautiful, the food was good, but the service was the worst I've ever seen in my entire dining experience. There were only four table with customers, and three of the tables already had their dinner. Took 50 minutes from the time we ordered until our food arrived. Service was so bad, it ruined the whole dinning experience.

Just stopped in for a quick lunch. Had the turkey sandwich, it was good. Wait staff was attentive, I was impressed with the service. Love the location.
