Our favorite little authentic mexican restaurant! Reasonably priced, pleasant owners and waitress, and a great big glass of tea!

We like El Charros for the amount of food you get for a little price. Love the chips and hot sauce and the friendly staff.

My husband and I disagreed on the quality of the food. I enjoyed my tostada dinner. He ordered the Enchilada dinner, which came with 4 enchilada, but he felt the sauces were unremarkable. Based on the amount of food for the price, I considered it a bargain. It's a simple place with advertisement filled laminate tables. We had dinner, which... More

If you are in Blanco looking for Mexican food then this the place. When we get a craving for Tex-Mex we load up and drive the 10 miles in to town and stop at El Charro. This is basic, cheap Tex-Mex that is always consistent. The chips are crisp and the hot sauce flavorful. The Texas plate is perfect for... More

Tried this place twice , once for breakfast and thought I would give it another chance and stopped for lunch. BIG mistake that I will never make again. Place was not clean and the food was really bad, try one of the other places in town.

The food is delicious and the portions are very filling. Fresh crispy, not greasy, corn tortilla chips and red salsa are gratis and most appetizing. The flautas, fajitas and of course, beans and rice, were delicious. The flan and churros were good too. Servers were friendly and the food was fresh and satisfying.

My family stopped here for dinner as we were returning to our condo. It looks like a hole-in-the-wall type of place which we have had good experiences trying. In other words, it looks unpretentious, authentic, inexpensive. Sometimes this can backfire with a really bad experience, but this was definitely a good experience. The food was very good. I had a... If you're in the mood for Mexican Food, this is a good place to go. Prices are reasonable and staff is eager to please. Just be forewarned that if you ask something out of the ordinary, they might not understand you.
