Get here early if you want a table!! It fills up fast, for a good reason -- great food and reasonable prices!! Don't miss it!!

Met friends for breakfast in Blanco on a Saturday morning. There was a 30 minute wait, as it is a very small place. The wait was worth it. Their toast is made with homemade bread. The eggs benedict were awesome. Good service. I think almost everything on the breakfast menu was less than $8.00.

Quaint little restaurant with nice well thought out dishes. Clean family atmosphere and sometimes there is a guitarist adding to the pleasant surroundings

We were so impressed with this place we went for breakfast both days we were in Blanco. The ambiance is nice. The customer service was stellar. They have homemade bread that that is TO DIE FOR. It's in toast, french toast, etc. They also make homemade biscuits for biscuits and gravy. Good hot coffee. Crispy bacon. The potatoes are amazing.... More

If you go nowhere else in Blanco, go to the Chess Club Cafe. As good a breakfast omelet as anywhere, coffee is great, service and amenities are wonderful. Lots of food at reasonable prices. Will go again.

This place is hard to beat! It may be hard to find, but please do if you are in Blanco. If I lived in town I would probably be one of their many regulars. Their breakfast tacos were delightfully different than most others we have encountered. The tortillas were soft corn and overflowed with the wonderful filling. I cannot wait... More

We have eaten at the Chess Club several times. All their food has been great, but their breakfast exceeded our expectations!! Prices are very reasonable for the amount of food served. Owners and staff are very friendly, service is quick and desserts are DELISH!! A must visit in Blanco!!

Yep, More than Home Style.. It is actually an Old Home that's right off the side of 281. Just be sure to Spot It on the South Side of the Sonic. Locally grown, In House Made and Baked and everything. If you leave hungry, it's your fault!

We found out about the Chess Club from a local resident, and that's good because they are sort of hidden between the Sonic and the Dollar General in a small home just South of downtown Blanco. When you spy a parking lot full of cars that will be the place. My BW ordered their Cobb salad and it came out... More
