I'm very picky, but we've never had a bad meal here. Two nights ago, we stopped in at about 8. We were seated right away, and attended to right away. We order a ribeye, baked potato and salads. It was probably the best steak we've had in awhile. The salad was fresh and dressings were good. It's not much on... More

There is not much near the Expo center to eat at. We got to the Oxbow and the smell was wonderful. We waited a bit to be seated. There was a waitress who kept running back and forth by our table. Others were seated after us and were waited on before us. We almost got up and walked out when... More

We arrived about thirty minutes prior to closing but the food was good and service was great. They do have a bar in the restaurant.

Food was great, steaks were done to perfection. Service was great with great atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone in the Belton area.

We were staying at the La Quinta next door to the restaurant and walked over for lunch. I ordered fried catfish and no doubt this was the worst fish I have ever had. $9.95 for four very small pieces -- undercooked and tasteless except for grease. More resembling pork rinds than fish. The hushpuppies looked so bad and pre-fab I... More

Folks if I had read the reviews before stopping here I probably would have kept on driving but I'm glad we stopped. After reviewing the Menus and making our selections my phone had enough charge to open the TA app and was surprised by the mixed reviews. Still by that time we had already been served some amazing iced tea... More

Way too understaffed. We waited to be seated for about 15 while others were standing on line trying to pay. Two servers working hard but overwhelmed. We walked out and went elsewhere.

I have been eating at this establishment for many many years. Although the food is slightly pricey, I have never had bad service or a bad meal here. They have a hot home made bacon salad dressing here that is just the best.........the steak and chicken entrees are very tasty as well. Thumbs up for the cornbread too! The bar... More

This hotel benefits from being the only thing near the Expo and hotel in bad weather... The atmosphere is ok, a little on the dark and run down side. The one group meeting there for dinner made the whole place very noisy. The food is good, but very overpriced. My salad was good, and fresh, the baked potato was very... More

This restaurant boasts being authentic old style bbq and steakhouse. There were menus in our hotel and since we were tired from all day eventing at a horse show, decided it was very close and we didn't have to drive there. Never again. We were seated at our table and never approached again until 10 minutes later. As we looked... More
