Great Location in a Historic Setting....

I really appreciate what The Gin has tried to accomplish. I love bringing friends to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere as Belton has somewhat limited restaurant choices. The burgers are good and the salads are delicious. I would like to see a few menu additions with attention to organic food... read more

No need to drive to Temple or Killeen to a "chain steakhouse." The Gin at Nolan Creek in Belton has them beat!!! They have GREAT steaks, seafood, salads, burgers, as well as specials every day! They cook all of their meat over real mesquite wood, you can see it stacked beside their building. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is... More

My family and I had a great time at the gin. The food was great. Since it was my first time there I ask the server what was their favorite thing on the menu. They told me the avocado steak salad. So I got it. I was Gooooooood. My family love there food choice as well. After a while a... More

The Gin fills a huge gap in restaurants in Belton. It is in a great location along the river. In the summer you can dine while a band is performing at the pavillion. The menu has a great variety of items. The food is OK.

Nice place to enjoy the Leon River view. Food and drinks are average and service is terrible. Historic setting offering a couple restaurants, a wine bar and yogurt shop. Especially enjoy the yogurt shop next to The Gin. Kids love to feed the ducks and walk along the rocks at the river. Great area for a walk.

The location is pretty cool: right along the Leon River and across from a local wine bar. During the warmer months there will sometimes be live music outside and it is fun to walk along the river. The food is just OK; nothing unique or special. I liken it to a local BJs with less selection.

The service was great and the food was good family cooking. We went early so tkling was not a problem. We sat inside due to weather. In summer the band outside is an extra bonus.

The food is very good but a bit pricey. All of the entree's that I've either ordered or seen were good. Vegetables are cooked just right - not overdone.
