Good Japanese food. Service can be slow. Prices are steep and portions are small. Dark inside. Still good food. Next to a Bingo Hall, so don't go on Friday or Saturday nights.
Ordered water and bottle of wine. Server brought out bottle of wine and did not pour any? That was a first!! Then she forget the water. Friday and Sat claim to have live music. We were there at the designated time.. no music. There is NO way the carpets are sticky from the grills. As soon as you walk on... More
Ate here with 3 others on a Saturday night, reservations at one of the hibachi tables. The restaurant is large, with around 6 hibachi tables, a long bar, and open seating in between. It was smoky in the restaurant, and our clothes smelled like grease when we left. Ordered sushi as appetizer, didn't arrive until after the soup and salad.... More
Went to lunch here and I expected better. I got the lunch bento teriyaki beef. It was quite expensive when I got a soda and the fried rice. With a $2 tip it came to $16. On top of that the food wasn't that great and the server didn't seem to happy to help us. I hope they can step... More
My wife loves sushi so one Saturday night we decided to give it a try. We didn't make reservations, but who makes reservations in the Killeen area. Bad mistake. It happened to be homecoming and the place was filled with teens and very noisy. We sat at the bar and as we walked across the floor our feet stuck to... More
The sushi is very fresh. The service is a little iffy--we have been multiple times, and have had a different experience each time, but never had an extremely bad experience. The sushi chefs are very knowledgable and accomodating. It's also a great atmosphere.
The sushi here is good, not great, but the best in the area, unless you want to drive to Austin. The hibachi tables are always a hit and very fun for a group outting. The service is efficient and timely. I typically don't go here to eat, but I do order takeout from here fairly often, and I've never been... More
We recently moved back to the Temple/Belton area and went to Nami for dinner a few weeks ago because we remembered it to be quite a good place to have Hibachi back a few years ago when they first opened. To say I left extremely disappointed and annoyed at the waitress is an understatement. I have an allergy to scallops... More
I went with my family of 5 there. We had sushi and hibachi. The sushi quality was poor! The fish taste like it had been sitting a while. I took one bite of my sushi and left the rest. The grill food was ok. The chef flicked a shrimp into my drink and never asked waitress to replace it for... More
