Good food, but...

Came from out of town to meet friends, who came with their 2 granddaughters (9 and 5) for early dinner. The restaurant has an older but comfortable feel about it. And the view of Lake Belton is great. The dining room was not very crowded, as it was only about 3 PM. We ordered 2 different seafood... read more

Went with a party of 12 for a birthday dinner. We had reservation so we were seated right away in a room that looked like it was a banquet room filled with round tables. He pulled 2 tables together and we all sat down. Our young waiter said he was only waiting on us so service would be great. He... More

This is my first and last visit to this restaurant. Steep prices for inferior and small portions of food. Had to ask the waitress to bring rolls to our table. Chicken fried steak was very thin and grisly. Worst chicken fried steak I have ever had.The small portion of mashed potatoes were watery. The green vegetable you got with the... More

Good food and atmosphere, service was also excellent. Large selection of food and beverages. Family friendly environment with live entertainment on the outside patio overlooking the lake.

Sunday brunch is incredible! The rest of their menu is good. I wouldn't say great. Their desserts are delightful. Peach cobbler was excellent. The setting is simple. The view over Belton Lake is beautiful. Hard to accommodate large groups but 2-5 and your set!

The shrimp was so good! It had that wonderful sweet taste that told you it was truly fresh shrimp. The plate of food was definitely more than you could eat. The waitress was very attentive to our table anticipating our needs before we asked. I would recommend Dead Fish Grill to anyone who loves fresh shrimp!!

If this is just about food and views I would rate this a five, but attitude, slovenliness, also count. From the woman at the front who acted as though this was her first day to the manager who explained everything went wrong because they were busy. This restaurant is always busy and evidently the staff is unable to keep up... More

We had a good lunch and a great view of lake Belton. I have catfish and the wife had a salad. They have a good bar as well.
