We had dinner there this week with friends. It was chosen randomly because we had never been to Belton before and heard it was a good place. I had Salmon and it was OK. I think it is unfair for me to judge on only one visit but my initial reaction is you would go there for the location and... More

Get a burger and draft beer and enjoy the view. Fish tacos are good too. Don't be scared when they shoot the cannon at sunset!

We went to enjoy a meal with a fabulous view of Belton Lake. The view was the best part of our lunch. The food was average quality and my mom and I both felt that our food was slightly under cooked. We ended up with upset stomachs that afternoon. We were also shocked at the price. I know there were... More

This restaurant has such a pretty setting over looking the lake. However we rarely go there. The food is just okay. The burger is probably the best thing they have. It is a shame, because with the history and view, this could be a spectacular restaurant. The only time I go is when friends pick this place to meet.

We had the salmon & a shrimp PO boy. While we waited at our table we watched the boaters on the lake from our perch in the RESTURANT on the side of the cliff. The food & service were great & the atmosphere excellent.

I have been to the Dead Fish Grill about 6 times. The staff is always pleasant and responsive. The restaurant is located on a lake with some scenic views. The clientele tends toward the college age groups. The food is only average and has not improved in any of my visits. They do serve alcohol.

Just moved to the area and decided to see what this place was all about. Took my wife there for a weekly date. We dined on a Saturday night, kinda busy, but got a seat outside under a minute. Ordered the cannon balls for an appatizer. For 15 bucks I expected a little more than three small golfball sized snacks.... More

Being the only restaurant around the area, you can tell they don't care about service because they have no competitors. Seating staff was confused, sat in the bar to wait and didn't get served there at all. Once we got our table it was in the far corner with an industrial fan blowing on us. I ordered buffalo chicken fingers... More

Waitress appeared under the influence. Drinks tool forever. Had to ask for water twice...then lemon three times. Appetizer never came to me. Drinks and appetizers given to wrong people. Food was either bland or overpowering. Could nt even taste the Snapper because the sauce was so overpowering. Disorganized.

We stopped by for lunch and really enjoyed it. We had the shrimp po boy and the fried oyster po boy, also the gumbo and étouffée. All were very tasty and fresh. The view is wonderful, and we are planning to go back in the evening so that we can enjoy the sunset on the lake as well as the... More
