Rush slowly to this place!

Ok, I realize that the title of my review might be a bit confusing, but once you go to the Reggae beach bar, all will become clear. You see, "Rush Slowly" if their motto, and after a few adult beverages on their beach, it will be your motto too. Located about a 1/2 hour drive from the pier, it... read more

I wish I had the opportunity to visit on lobster night. I heard it is fantastic. I was at a catered dinner, which was very good, but I would have enjoyed being able to order off the menu. They have some of the best conch fritters I've ever eaten. They have wonderful frozen drinks! It has a great atmosphere decorated... More

Short drive from the Marriott. Very popular restaurant doing a brisk lunch business the afternoon we stopped by. Lovely location, great view of the beach and water. Restaurant itself is interesting and quirky with lots of past diners leaving various remembrances of their visit. We tried the conch chowder, east indian roti sandwich, lobster sandwich, and coconut shrimp. We enjoyed... More

Great little restaurant on Turtle Beach, colourful and loved the "Rush Slowly" posters and t-shirts. Service was a little slow but we were with a large group and the restaurant and beach was packed. Sandwiches and drinks and fresh catch of the day plates were all delicious. Server was accommodating to kids menu and allergies, but think quick and order... More

We went as a family trip and rented a house not far from reggae beach bar. We are lunch here twice and spent the day on the beach once but the best thing is lobsterfest Friday night. Lunch is good and right on the beach, and they have beach chairs you can rent and the beach is nice, and good... More

Best food on the island for lunch. Best service on the beach. Best view, probably the best beach. Not the best snorkling, which is at South Friar's beach, but hey, you can't have everything all at once. Get there early, say about 10:30a.m., for a good spot on the beach front. Get you a bucket full of ice and six... More

We stayed at the Marriott on the Atlantic side of the island and decided to take the $24 cab ride each way for the day. It was worth it. The beach was clean. The people were friendly. We rented two chairs and an umbrella for $15. I would suggest getting there early as the cruise ship passengers descend early. We... More

rent the chair and umbrella, and buy the bucket of beer! We were so relaxed, and had fun swimming with the fish around the beach and dock. The beach could be a little cleaner around the chairs, but I'm guessing it doesn't get swept at night like a fancy resort beach would. Beauty day at the beach!!

I don't really remember the food after having one of their Killer Bees. If you are looking for a unique dining experience and some really strong rum.. this is your place.

We landed in St Kitts with our cruise and caught a cab for an island tour. After we returned to the center of town, my husband ask our driver to take us to a snorkeling spot and we were off. It was about 45 minutes from where our ship docked, so he decided no snorkeling and let's do lunch at... More
