Pricey, but so is everything else on the islands

I had the pleasure of dining at the Spice Mill on a business trip in early March. It is on a beautiful beach and we had the opportunity to watch the sunset, which was gorgeous. The rum punch was flowing, the food was amazing, and the service was great. It is a beautiful restaurant. I had the West Indes Crab... More

We spent the day at Cockleshell Beach at the Spice Mill restaurant. We rented chairs and an umbrella and had great drinks and food. Our server was friendly and attentive. The bathroom facilities were better than expected. If I go back to Cockleshell beach, I would go to the Spice Mill again. The atmosphere was better there than at most... More

I can't say enough about Spice Mill. Everyone working there is very friendly. The food was FABULOUS. By far the best food in St. Kitts. There were 6 of us, each ordering something different, each saying theirs was the best. And the view will blow you away. When you walk in there you automatically feel relaxed and officially on vacation.... More

I suspect many travelers will be dissuaded from driving down to Cockleshell Beach these days (until the roads get resurfaced), but I would suggest convincing a taxi to do it just to experience this gem. A superior setting on the beach, open air dining, attentive service, awesome bar, great drinks, perfectly prepared food. Put it on the "do not miss"... More

First, they make the best cocktails. Try the Caprioski or Mojitos. there is a great consistency in the pride that the servers, manager, bartender show to patrons. We had expressed some disappointment in a previous visit last year. Althought the food was great , the slowness of service was distracting and poor. a complete difference in experience this year! Pleasantly,... More

Excellent cocktail on a beautiful intimate beach, with a fabulous view and served by the nicest couple of barmaids I've ever met. Well done. Sadly couldn't stay for dinner as we had to catch a ferry. If the food is even half as good as the staff, it's a winner.

My husband, 17 yr old son and I came here for dinner while on spring break in St Kitts. Truly the best meal we had during our entire visit. My husband and I had the mahi mahi and our son had the shrimp. Both were delicious and delightfully presented. We decided to skip appetizers to save room for dessert but... More

Ten of us ate here while stopping off for the night on our sailing trip. Good food and drinks, and the ambiance was lovely. A good choice!
