We ended up going here on a whim due to the recommendation of our taxi driver. He was spot on and it was one of the best destinations and restaurants on the island. Go for the full day and rent jet skis next door and spend time around the beach bar in addition to the restaurant. It still looks brand... More

We enjoyed their beach/rental chairs during the day. Quiet end of a very busy beach when there are cruise ships in Basseterre. The peaceful opposite of Reggae Beach, which is usually slammed with cruise ship bus loads. Beers on the beach for $2.50 is a good thing. We returned for dinner that evening and the food was good, service a... More

First, this Trip Advisor description is inaccurate. Spice Mill is on Cockleshell bay. Turtle beach is further east down a horribly maintained road with only one restaurant. Second, Google maps inaccurately locates this restaurant. It is actually on the most western corner of Cockleshell bay. Now for the review. Those of you who have read my other posts about St.... If you're reading this, you're probably wondering if you should make the trip to eat at Spice Mill. You should! Just stop reading and go!! But if you're the type of person who likes more data - here you go. First off, the place is just really beautiful, the structure, the table settings, the decor - very chic natural beauty... More

I am a student at Ross University and the owner, Roger ALWAYS goes above and beyond for the students. I used my 100 EC gift card that was donated by the restaurant, which I had won at a Ross event. I have been to Spice Mill before for a student awards dinner also a school function and the food is... More

We made dinner reservations here at the recommendation of a friend who attends school on the island. This was the best place we ate during our vacation! The service was wonderful--very friendly and accommodating--and the views were beautiful. We went around 6pm, which was the perfect time to watch the sunset over the island. We had the Thai chicken salad... More

This is a good mixed between a beach bar, a cocktail bar and a trendy restaurant with great views of Nevis. The reason why I do not give it a 5 stars is because as they are renovating at times the service is a bit chaotic and disorganised, but it is a great place to relax and have some nice... More

Beautiful place. We stopped there for lunch and spent a couple hours post-lunch lounging on their private beach chairs. They normally charge $5/chair but its free if you purchase food or drinks from them. Food was good. We ordered Jerk Chicken Nachos (YUM!), Wahoo, Fish Tacos and Jerk Chicken Tacos. Nice presentation, food was pretty good (Reggae beach couple doors... More

We arrived at Spice Mill Restaurant right around lunch time. To our surprise, the resto was empty and under construction. We asked the waitress why that was and in her defense, they were planning to close for lunch given the off-season but decided at the last minute to open. She was super nice about it (perhaps they decided to serve us... More
