Found Miss Lilly's driving to the Smokies. So glad we did. We wanted good authentic food, not the tourist trap restaurants. We had BBQ pork and BBQ chicken sandwiches. The BBQ was amazing, so moist and flavorful, even before the sauce was added. The sauce only made it better. The buns were homemade and soft, but held up well to... More

On a recent trip to the Gatlinburg area, we asked locals to recommend a restaurant off the beaten path that used local produce. They recommended Miss Lily's Cafe, and we were not disappointed. It was about a half-hour drive. It's in a renovated barn in a lovely location. They grow their own vegetables on-site. My husband had BBQ ribs, and... More

We had dinner at miss Lily's last night and the food was excellent. We were sat immediately and had the smokin fest which had smoked wings, pulled pork, baked beans and slaw. I love smoked food and the wings were some of the best I have had anywhere. The restaurant is very nice but not upscale so don't worry about... More

Ate there for the first time last night. We were seated quickly. The server was excellent keeping our tea glasses full. We ordered the beef tips which were so tender. The meal was delicious and there was plenty to eat. Didn't try the deserts because I was so full but they looked yummy. Great place for a meal on the... More

On our way into the Smoky mountains, we stopped in Townsend, Tn for a relaxing dinner at Lily's Cafe. Kenny Stringer entertained us on guitar as we enjoyed grilled trout and a pasta dish with smoked chicken. We highly recommend the coconut cream pie for dessert. On our way back home, we timed it just right so that we could... More

This had good reviews on Tripadvisor so stopped in. Had the fried green tomato BLT and my son had the "Mountain Man" sandwich. Both were delicious. If I am ever in Townsend again, I will be going back!

On our trips to the Smokies we've been visiting Miss Lily's for several years, as a couple and also as a family of ten. Obviously the food and service are great or we wouldn't keep going back. The reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five is because we miss the orange tea -- please bring it back!

Our family had a great dinner tonight at Miss Lilly's. The service was outstanding. The seafood cakes with trout and crab meat were excellent. We visit here annually, and it maintains is consistency in food quality, great service, and delicious desserts on every visit.

Stopped in for a quick lunch while getting acquainted with Townsend and the Smokies. Loved my fried green tomato BLT sandwhich and my husband got the fish sandwich. Both were delicious! Couldn't resist the homemade desserts, so we got the chocolate chip cookie and the Hello Dolly bar to go. Both were delicous!! Highly recommend this place for lunch, dinner... More
