Good Restaurant

We have eaten here a few times for lunch on our way to Cades Cove. I would recommend the mountain man sandwich which has different smoked meats which they smoke themselves. This is a great sandwich and goes good with their homemade potato salad. We recently visited though and seems mountain man... read more

Very good food and good service. It might be pricey for "locals" but visiting from Vegas, we found the food reasonable and really good!

This is a special spot for me. Just a block in off the main road in Townsend. It has great homemade soups and a delicious variety of sandwiches. my favorite is their portabella sandwich. Delicious homemade desserts too! For breakfast I enjoy their omelets. Country stained wood walls with oak tables and painting from local artists. The service is very... More

We ate as a group at this restaurant twice. Service was good. The first night I had their trout which I would not recommend. The second time I had a salad which was very good. My wife had mixed vegetables which she said was good.

Miss Lilly's appears to be a rather humble quiet mountain town restaurant, but the food is anything but quaint and quiet. We had made reservations at Miss Lilly's when visiting Townsend and the mountains over Halloween weekend. When we arrived we found a busy restaurant that was understaffed due to the fact many of the staff had taken the evening... More

Food was good, nothing to go nuts about-my chicken salad was on dry toasted but cold croissant, but the place is quaint and cozy. Good cookies and dessert, but we waited forty five minutes to get our lunch.

It's a little place that's just off the main highway that we drove past a number of times before we were taken there. A little place with a great menu that made it difficult to choose what to eat. My friend had a taste of the Smokies that was a sampling of every kind of meat they had. I had... More

After a day in the Cove, damp rainy day, Miss Lily came through! Basil Tomato soul with a touch of blue cheese and a chicken salad on croissant was just what I needed! The hamburger and fries were awesome, so my friend said!

My first meal here, the roast chicken, was so expertly prepared that I could ignore the few drawbacks like less-than-fresh salad greens and a very dry Italian cream cake. At the second meal, the salad was fresh as could be and the apple pie for dessert was great. However, the main course, shrimp and grits, was very disappointing. The main... More

We ate Dinner here twice while we were staying in Townsend and wish we had eaten here even more often! Both times we dined we were not disappointed the food and the service was outstanding. We did not have room for dessert but we did take a carry out to our cabin and so glad we did the pumpkin cheese... More
