Traveling from Ohio, this spot was close to our cabin rental. Happy we stopped! Nicki (six) provided great service and the food was delicious.

I took my family here on Sunday 07/21/14 right away I knew something was different. Restrooms were not very clean out of paper products ect. We sat down to order and the menu had changed. I frequented the "old' back porch and LOVED it. I was informed it changed ownership in FEB. 2014. It took over an hour to get... More

This is the third time my husband and I have eaten there. The Louisiana catfish (which we both had) was wonderfully delicious, some of the best I've eaten. You get a good size meal, there was plenty of food on my order. Nikki, our waitress, was very nice and friendly. She kept a good check on us during our meal.... More

Wonderful new owners of this quaint restaurant. They work very hard to provide a fine dining experience. And indeed it was. We haven't had such delicious Cajun Cusine since moving from South Louisiana. I had the Crayfish Etoufee' and like it should be, was loaded with large Louisiana crayfish floating in a thick roux made gravy with just the right... More

Quite possibly the worst food I've had in my life. We started with boudin balls which were fine, no complaints. I had country fried steak with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. The mashed potatoes and gravy for the steak were in separate bowls and both had a dried layer on their surface. And both were awful. I'm not even sure how... More

When we pulled into Townsend after a13 hour drive we stopped at the first decent looking restaurant. I split the seafood meal with my son. The crab legs and shrimp were mouthwatering good. Yes it had a huge kick to it with the spice but I expected that. My husband and toddler had the all you can eat frog legs... More

This is by far the best restaurant in Townsend. We were extremely pleased with everything that we ordered. Had the stuffed catfish and fried oysters - both excellent and plenty of it. Could not finish and did take home. Planning on having for dinner tonight and we are truly looking forward to it. The hostess and our waitress had exceptional... More

Worst jambalaya I've ever had. Tasted like it had been made a couple weeks before and then been reheated. When I complained to the cashier how bad it was, she said, "I know". No apologies or offer of a refund. My wife's crab cakes were good, but we felt their entrees were way overpriced.

We had a nice, relaxing dinner Friday night before the Great Smoky Mtns. outdoor concert and it was very good. The food was hot and well prepared and our waitress was attentive, but not overbearing. I would definitely go back again.

Being a seafood lover I was soooo excited to see a Seafood Restaurant in Townsend which is not far from our house. I too was duped by the really nice write up in the local paper. The photo of the delicious looking Roasted Oysters is what sold me to travel the 25 miles to try this restaurant. The photo showed... More
