We went for fried apple pies...their "speciality" ...not great...too much dough not enough filling....cinnamon ice cream was good though. Go next door get the ground coffees and fudge...much better!

Although the kids hamburgers were average, my Reuben sandwich was fantastic. There was a lot of meat, melted cheese and delicious bread. Place is not very clean and tables have oil cloth on them, but as places to eat in area are very limited, this is a good choice for a sandwich and drink in Townsend.

Stopped and ate lunch here on Saturday July 5th. The prices were okay for the portion size, my family had a fried chicken sandwich w/fries, BBQ sandwich w/fries, BLT w/chips, 3 drinks and 3 fried apple pies and it was $40. The country store next door has amazing fudge, that is the real star of this little road side stop... More

We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon after getting in town for vacation. Service was good and the food was good. The portions were more than we expected.

Food was ok but the the two kids working there seemed annoyed that we interrupted their doing nothing. Food was actually served on styrofoam plates with plastic forks that broke when you tried to cut through your microwave pancake.

Saw this place and decided to give it a try. The food wasn't anything special tasted like the only thing that was probably cooked and not microwaved was the eggs. The price was too high for "ok" food. We did purchase some turn overs and their famous fried pies. The turn overs were good the fried pies were tasteless!

They had a chicken and dumping special, For 7.99 , my husband and myself ordered it, my first bite was the mashed potatoes they were so salty you could'nt eat them, then the green beans (canned ) they were as bad, it's like the cook never tasted anything before sending it out. To make matter a lot worse they served... More

My husband and I stopped by for a quick snack. Many menu irems were unavailable, and the poor waitress was serving as hostess, cashier, server, and whatever else. Our food was cold and wasn't even good. My husband left over half of his and anyone that knows him knows he NEVER leaves food on his plate. Needless to say, we... More

Good country cooking and atmosphere. Much less hectic than the other side of the mountain (Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge) range. You'll leave stuffed or with a to-go box. Save room for desert and stop by the store and grab a couple of fried Pies for Breakfast. Don't forget the Apple Butter!

My family and I really love this place. We make sure to stop by every time we are in the Smokies. A little pricey on somethings but very friendly and great service.
