Country charm and delicous treats!

What a neat little gem in Townsend, TN on the way to the Great Smokey Mountains. Stopped in to see what the gift shop had to offer and spent an hour looking at all the goodies they had for sale. The candy shop inside the country store had tons of candy and treats from days gone by, all in big... read more

My husband and I decided to take a different route home since we travel to Gatlinburg often, we have took almost every scenic route there and back. This time leaving the Smoky Mountains was no different, the traffic is heavy and any and everywhere to eat are over crowded and busy just as well. I told my husband we could... More

We had always send the Apple Valley complex or store on the way to the mountains and had stopped a time or two. This time we decided to stop and try the cafe. Boy are we glad we did! Excellent food and friendly service ! It was a delight. Plus we had a fried apple pie with cinnamon ice cream... More

Its ok for a look but we just ended up buying some drinks & moving on to the next thing. The store is nice but we did find anything that would bring us back next time.

Good place to pick up lunch during the week. Weekends are a bit crowded. Fried apple pies, of course.

You cannot leave here without taking fresh fried apple pies for the ride home! And don't forget the home made fudge!

Fried apple pie was ethereal. Melted on my tongue. Very laid back atmosphere and very southern in hospitality.

Really good, stop everytime in Townsend TN. Several "shopping areas" are part of the Kitchen (and a good bathroom break)!

Every year we go to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. While travelling around, we stopped for a coffee at this little restaurant. I haven't tried the other food, but we had the best coconut cream pie ever. It was fresh, home made and the taste was oh so "coconutty" Check out the gift stores next to it. I always find something neat... More

We went for fried apple pies...their "speciality" ...not great...too much dough not enough filling....cinnamon ice cream was good though. Go next door get the ground coffees and fudge...much better!
