My husband and I ate at the Firefly Cafe for lunch. I had the chicken and dumplins which was the special for the day and my husband had the fried ham sandwich. The food was good, although I had to salt alot of my food which is unusual because I don't usually salt my food. The prices were not good,... More

OK when you're on the road and need to eat. Salad had quite a few leaves that should NOT have been in there. Bakery stand was empty. Soup of the day was sold out at 11.55 AM ?? Friendly people serving and behind the register!

We had a firefly chicken sandwich, was very good. But the Reuben was skimpy and no rye bread. And we were really disappointed the sweet potato fries are gone, the regular fries were tasteless so we weren't so mad that the portion was only half what it used to be. Our server was quiet stoic, and paid us little attention,... More

This is a little gem that's easy to pass because it's at the end of a strip center some distance from the highway (can be seen from main Hwy 321, but only if you're looking for it). We had breakfast there and the waitress was like Alice? in Mel's Diner TV show (yes, that was a long time ago). She... More

My first time going was a very good experience food was great!! Second time we went I had breakfast and can't say I enjoyed it much..the atmosphere there is good and the fact that you can sit outside and enjoy the view of the mountains is an extra bonus for them!!

Food was yummy, prices were fair, and staff was kind and attentive. An all-around win! A good spot for lunch if you are around the national forest but don't want to deal with the more tourist areas like pigeon forge

My family enjoyed eating here twice on a recent trip to Townsend. For lunch we all had something different and everyone's meal disappeared! I liked the fries served in the basket- very cute. Breakfast was also good and the service was terrific. The waitress was very attentive and remembered what everyone was drinking. They have a local following which tells... More

We found this delightful restaurant online and decided to try it. Everything about it was enjoyable! Our waiter was very friendly and helpful. I have food allergies, and our waiter was more than happy to check ingredients and make accommodations. The food was delicious as well. Everyone in my family thoroughly enjoyed their food. We will be back!

My wife and I stopped in for a quick bite to eat before running some errands. We each had a bowl of the ham and bean soup, and split a vegetable wrap. The soup was outstanding - clearly home made. The wrap came with nice basket of fries and was equally tasty. The place is nicely decorated and the service... More
