Food has always been very good. The New York Strip had a good flavor. The Tomato Basil soup was good with added salt and pepper. Large homemade cookies for desert. A very attentive waiter as always.

Rarely open! Its a part time restaurant. When you're in business you should be open to serve the public! Sad this place has no concept of customer service. And there's no other restraunts on the downtown strip for weekend shoppers.

Great food, service and atmosphere. I love the fries and grilled chicken. The salmon is great too. They have a large desert selection and they are all to die for! The cow patty is my favorite.

Stopped in for an afternoon tea and a goodie. All but two of the made fresh daily bakery items were sold out. The staff indicated that is normal so get there early if you want one of their desserts. The loaf of banana bread was very good.

My wife and I happened by this place for lunch and we are happy we did. The atmosphere is warm and inviting even with the super high ceilings as the building must be around 100 years old if not older. You can really see the love and attention that went in to the décor as well as the food. The... More

Stopped into this sweet little town for a late lunch and stopped into this place because of the ambience. Old English with antiques and beautiful art for sale on the walls. Had a great menu with something for everyone. There seemed to be a lot of travelers stopping through and everyone was so friendly. We ordered fish tacos, the trio... More

The place has such a musty smell it knocks yo over when you walk in, and it didn't get much better...the service was so so slow. The server used the 'excuse' that they had a party of 25 earlier and it threw them off. What? It took over 45 minutes for our meals and even at that the baked potato... More

This place was great! It was a quaint little cafe right in the heart of downtown Sweetwater, to the direct left of the memorial park. They had a huge selection of high-quality food. We checked out other diners' dishes as we walked to our table upon entry. At first, we thought it may be a little fancier than a simple... More

What a great location! Hunter's Bakery and Café is located in the historic district of old downtown Sweetwater TN. Next door are antique shops, art galleries, and more. Across the street is the town square. Freight trains rumble by for diversion. If you like small old downtowns, this is a good one. If only Hunter's lived up to the potential... More
