Excellent Ribs

This place is about 1 mile off I-75, an hour north of Chattannooga. Stopped for lunch on a road trip. The best meat is the ribs - fall off the bone, sweet molasses based sauce, a bit fatty, but excellent. Beef brisket is good, smoky. Avoid the pork – very dry, overly smoky. They have... read more

Stopped here for lunch on the way south on I-75. Saw their sign on the exit and decided to try some BBQ. Great choice! It's been some time since we had ribs, so even though the luncheon menu was peppered with unusual and what looked like delicious offerings, we opted to do dinner (offered with two sides). My wife ordered... More

The wife and I have never seen this restaurant in earlier trips to the area, but stopped because we were hankerin' for BBQ. We noticed they have ample seating and service too. We ordered the BBQ half chicken with two sides. The potatoes were huge and expertly baked. The green beans were hot, tender, and tasty. The chicken was "fall... More

We were passing through GA on the way back from our family vacation in the Smoky Mountains. Decided to stop by for lunch. My husband had the brisket. He was not impressed. Not smoked long enough and not seasoned well but tender. I ordered turkey sandwich. It was the best smoked turkey we have ever tried. Even my husband liked... More

We stopped on the road and had high hopes - we were completely disappointed. We had three meat combo platter: the smoked turkey was the driest least flavorful turkey I have ever had, the brisket was the worst ever also, the sausage was boring. The portions were VERY small for $18. The saving grace was the pork filled hush puppies... More

They have all you can eat ribs. The ribs are St. Louis style, and have too much fat on them for my liking. For ribs, I like babybacks. I have had their babybacks before and they are decent. My wife always gets their chicken fingers. For the only BBQ place around Sweetwater, they are not bad.

We stopped in pretty late on our way back from Florida hoping to get a good meal, didn't' happen. Ordered brisket and full rack of baby back ribs. Brisket was dry and no flavor, actually tasted old like it was refrigerated for a long time then microwaved. The ribs were even worse, we sent one half back immediately and the... More

We stopped here for dinner on our drive to Florida and we were so impressed that we made sure to stop again on our drive back home. The food is fresh and extremely tasty. The home made potato chips were so good we ordered extra to take with us. We will definitely return every time we are in the area.
