Great dinner

We ate at IvyWild last night. Two in our party had the beef filet and both said that it was the best and most tender meat they had ever enjoyed. Another friend had the fish and loved it and I had the duck and it was excellent. Be sure to try the breakable bread for an appetizer--probably the best... read more

My wife and I just attended IvyWild's Valentine Night Prix Fixe Dinner. It was fabulous! Adventuresome and delicious. We usually enjoy these meals and this one was the best one yet! Kudos to Keri!

We had an amazing dining experience on our visit to Sewanee Tn. Our appetizers of cheese were delightful and with several varieties available gave plenty to choose. The steaks were prepared to perfection and were very tender. The Chilean sea bass was delightful as well. The flourless torte was just the right amount of dessert to cap off our dinner... More

Judging from the range of reviews, most people seem to rave about Ivy Wild. I'm going to attempt to give as fair as a review as possible. The set up: a party of four, a early (6:00) reservation, with two "locals" and two out-of-town genuine Foodies from the DC/NYC region. To save you from reading, let me sum up… the... More

Wow! never expected to find this level of gourmet food in the middle of the woods. We had an outstanding meal and when we went back everyone ordered the same meal again. We all wanted to try something new but the previous meal was so delicious we just wanted it again.

My wife and I were part of a wedding party of 14 persons who had reservations in advance. The groom's father and brother were not able to sit at our table and they would not rearrange the set up to accommodate them. They sat by themselves. Waiters were friendly and attentive but one side of the table was mostly men... More

If you're looking for your food to "look pretty" but not be edible, this is your place!! My wife and I have traveled all of the world, and we can honestly say that we will NEVER be eating here again. It's BYOB, which is fine, but to charge an uncorking fee of $3 per person is ludicrous! If I wanted... More

We shared a daddy-daughter 19th birthday here last Saturday evening. This was my daughter's 1st birthday since moving to college and she "researched" the best place to eat in Sewanee...........what an excellent choice. The atmosphere was reminiscent of a boutique Soho, NOLO or Napa special gem. Most of the ingredients are locally produced and/or processed. The staff, without exception, is... More

We chose Ivy Wild (and chef Keri Moser) to cater our wedding reception and the groom's parents chose it for the rehearsal dinner as well. The food was tasty and beautifully presented, the wedding cake was like from a fairy tale, and the staff were very professional. We always go back.
