We dined at Ivy Wild on a recent visit to Sewanee and it was, by far, the best meal we had in the area. It's located inside a very unassuming building and the inside is quite plain. But the food is another story! We loved that they used local food and products. Our server, Mary Jane, was incredibly knowledgable about... More

My husband and I tried Ivy Wild for a belated Valentines Day dinner. It was fabulous on all fronts. We weren't sure what to expect so we swung by early in the day to find the location and see if a menu was posted. We found it, with a little trouble. Their sign is understated so if you are unfamiliar... More

Each time we dine with the Ivy Wild team, we have a wonderful experience. The menu changes to reflect the availability of local products. Put it on your bucket list- Jim & Lee

If you are ever in middle Tennessee, you will want to drive out of your way to have dinner at Ivy Wild. Run by an award winning chef, this unimpressive looking establishment has some of the best food you will find anyplace in this country. Using locally grown and organic ingredients, the chef creates wonderful flavors and combinations. You cannot... More

Two couples celebrating two birthdays, One regularly travels to Europe (not me) and does experience good restaurants with good food well prepared and presented. He was duly impressed. Will not go into detail about what we all ordered but suffice to say it was all great. A few suggestions; Go online at ivywildsewanee.com and look at the menu (see prices).... More

IvyWild must be applauded for what they are attempting to do – bring a true 5 star restaurant into an area that is bereft of many. They are not quite there yet, but with their passionate love of food and the use of local sourcing for their food, they will be soon. The first strike is the lack of beer,... More

For our first anniversary, my wife and I traveled from our home in Chattanooga to Nashville, but on the way, we stopped for dinner in Suwanee. I had done some research, looking for something a bit beyond the usual travel grub, so I was heartened to discover IvyWild. Turns out, the restaurant was even better than I hoped. The restaurant... My husband and I ate here for our 33rd wedding anniversary. We ate Caramelized Candy Onion Soup, Peaches & Pork Cornbread, Certified Hereford Beef Filet, Ancho-Rubbed Salmon, and lastly Mark Manz's Olive Oil Cake. We brought our own wine and our bill was around $100.00. The food was delicious and artfully presented. We thought the portion size very nice. The... More

IvyWild is a true gem in this community. A focus on locally sourced ingredients makes the menu inventive and delectable. The decor isn't up to the standards of "The Herbfarm" in Woodinville, WA or "The French Laundry" in Yountville, CA, but I would compare the level of cuisine to both of these fine establishments. My wife's filet was melt-in-your mouth... More
