Excellent selection available, very tasty food, generous portions that were exactly as ordered and hot. The prices were very reasonable, especially for the quality and quantity of food. Actually found it so good we returned a second time prior to leaving.

This place caught our eye as a classic old time (50's) diner. The decor and furnishings were appropriate. Food was good, but not outstanding. Prices were a little high, but considering that you are in a vacation destination, this was not unexpected. The owner was frinedly and interactive and the service was prompt and friendly. We elected some standard fare,... More

Soon as we walked in you got the feeling like you were in an old 50's diner. The black and white checkered floor and bright red covered chairs and booths were classic! We were greeted and shown to our table. Our waitress was VERY friendly and asked if we had been before. When we said we had not she made... More

My elk burger was great. The service was awesome, and the diner is clean. Love the 50's theme inside and out. I do recommend coming here.

Nothing special about this restaurant. Typical diner food. We went for lunch. Had burgers & fries. Service was very good. Only reason we stopped in is because traffic was so backed up and kids were hungry. Probably would not go again if in town.

We surely know we cannot please all. Typical depends on what you think a diner is. Most appreciate our Char-Grilled fresh to order 81-19 Angus, Elk, Buffalo, Turkey & Veggie burgers as well above typical. If you want flat-grilled well done burgers, we will do that but it will be very hard to see any difference among your dining options... More

The diner was a treat for everyone in our party, something for everyone. We had a veggie burger (which didn't even exist in the 50"s!) which was delicious. But the crowning glory was the real, old-fashioned banana split, which we split 5 ways. Yum!

The Diner is a fun place to eat. The restaurant truly has the vibe of a 50's diner. The waitresses wear poodle skirts and are very peppy and attentive. They have the usual selection of sandwiches blue-plate special type offerings, and -- of course -- milk shakes. The food's good and the prices are reasonable.

Thank you thank you thank you. You recognize what we strive for. Choose food you want to eat that time & day & enjoy quality food purchased & prepared with no shortcuts. We love breakfast in the AM, mid-day or sausage (Swaggerty) bacon (14-18 thick cut Applewood is the only bacon in THE DINER so it goes into sandwiches too).... More

Great reuben, fantastic burger and awesome onion rings. We went around 9:00 am and were pleased that we were able to order off of the whole menu, not just breakfast. The service was friendly and the food was great. Will definitely stop again when in the area.

Thanks.. You must really be early risers and that's OK with us, we're ready with the Char-Grill cranked for your early burgers & Reuben or flat grills late at night for breakfast. We do all this to serve you as we want to be served ourselves. Eat healthy or indulge at THE DINER. Thank you for taking the time to... More
