What fun it is to catch your lunch, have it perfectly filleted, cooked and served. Was able to enjoy it outside in the October weather. Great service from everyone. Can't wait to go back.

When I went by their place on the way up to Forbidden Caverns, what caught my eye was "You Hook 'Em. We Cook 'Em". So, on my way out, I knew that was where I was going to eat my lunch. I could not wait to pull in the parking lot and catch my first ever trout. As soon as... More

In early August my daughter & 3 grandchildren (14, 6, 4) and a 14 year old friend visited. Our friend had never fished before, neither had the two little ones. It's fun and the little kids don't get frustrated, because they really do catch a fish. The young man who helped us was great at gauging when it was time... More

I have taken my two girls here several times!! We live in Knoxville TN and have visited the trout farm at least six or more times. Let me start with Chief their lazy boned dog that my daughter loves. We bring a bone in there every time we visit for Chief and he is such a cute dog to see... More

Once again we found this on Trip adviser and took the long drive out there, this place is out in the middle of nowhere unless you were going to the caverns, the place looks like a dump so once you get past that shock it’s a great place for the kids to go fishing and have fun. To fish your... More

We were looking for a catch and eat trout farm and found this on internet. Glad we took the ride off the tourist strip. Very friendly family and staff and good meals. My wife especially enjoyed the trout and I the chicken (sorry, I'm not a fish eater.) We'll be back.

My wife and I went to English Mountain Trout Farm thinking it would be novel to catch lunch and have it cooked on the spot. When we arrived, the young person working the counter was very friendly and helpful. We went out to the pond, got a pole and went to catching lunch. I caught two good sized trout, had... More

The hush puppies are amazing with the trout dinner. We fished for our dinner which was fun and different. The blackened trout was spectacular and I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

My brother hyped up this small place as the best place to eat trout... My son had his doubts as we pulled in ... It is a small town type of place -- no frills ... As we approached we were immediately greeted with hospitality. We fished for our dinner then awaited the meal! The owners were very friendly and... More
