My brother hyped up this small place as the best place to eat trout... My son had his doubts as we pulled in ... It is a small town type of place -- no frills ... As we approached we were immediately greeted with hospitality. We fished for our dinner then awaited the meal! The owners were very friendly and... More

Great experience! Very friendly people. Good food. Recommend to take the time to stop and visit. Will make the stop again when we get the chance.

We stopped here after visiting the Forbidden Caves for a late lunch after seeing all the reviews on trip advisor. So happy we stopped! Our kids (11 and 14) had a great time ....my son and husband caught the trout and the staff prepared us a great lunch! We also tasted the smoked trout which was amazing and a specialty... More

Based on the reviews I made my family stop here. We had gone to Forbidden Caverns and it's just down the road so planned it for lunch. Best meal we had during the whole trip. Teenagers wouldn't fish ($5 charge but they will cook what you catch) but had I had the fish anyways. Tried the blackened trout (five stars!!),... More

I assured them it was and lugged my 5 yr old daughter and 6 yr old nephew out of the car, and WOW...were we happy we stayed!!!! The look of pride on the... More

We almost didn't go because of the bad reviews about the building's condition and such but please.... If you're expecting a five star restaurant, don't go; if your looking for an experience, you will be very pleased. My only complaint was the price. For 4 plates of fish and fries and letting 2 kids fish, it cost $96 and THEY... More

I generally do not review establishments online, but I was so impressed with English Mountain Trout Farm that I thought the extra effort due. Perched on a gorgeously scenic road close to the Forbidden Caverns off of Route 411, this spot is just the sort of place you hope to find while traveling. Small and locally owned, the staff is... Amazing fun, food, and company! Thank you Charlie for making it such an enjoyable experience!! My kids caught our dinner, helped by patient and knowledgable gentlemen while we visited with Charlie and his dogs. The food was cooked to perfection and they get an a+++ for serious southern hospitality! One thing... Bring cash... They keep it cash only so their... More

What a wonderful restaurant experience. Where else can you get a fresher meal than this? One minute your son is catching your fish and thirty minutes later you are eating it. One of the best family dining experiences I've had in my life and definitely on our vacation to Pigeon Forge. It is located right up the road from the... More
