Destination experience just outside a cavern adventure.

Catch your own fish or just order off the menu. Quaint place that is great for children and adults as well. Very friendly people and excellent food.

Took my little buddies and they had a blast. Helpful and patient staff. They give you options with the fish you catch. They clean them or you can take them home and clean yourself. Also you can have your fresh trout cooked at their restaurant. Recommend for kids that's never caught a fish, and watching get so excited.

We were a group of 16. 8 adults and 8 kids ranging from 2-16. It took us about 20 minutes to decide if we should stay or go. The place looks a bit old and run down. Some in our group are a bit "snobby" and said no way they would eat there. However, As soon as the first kid... More

We stumbled upon this Trout Farm after visiting the Caverns, and we are so glad we stopped in. Our two young sons had a blast fishing for their dinner. The staff was friendly, the restaurant was quaint - we tried the trout both blackened and grilled with lemon/butter. Both were very good but we liked blackened the best! Just a... More

We stopped by with a group of friends on the way back from Forbidden caverns. We were the only group at the place at the time. We did not catch our own fish, nevertheless, it was tastiest trout I ever ate (had blackened). They served no-frills appetizers while we waited for our lunch. Combine that tasty trout, crispy and sunny... More

We let our kids catch our fish, 2 nice-sized trout that we shared. Then they got to gem-mine, which they loved. The kids got fried trout. I did not try it but it looked good. My husband and I got the other trout blackened on one side and lemon pepper on the other. Both were good but we both loved... More

Visited with a group of friends in Nov of 2014. Altogether we had 4 couples. We stopped on the way back form Forbidden caverns for lunch. There was no one else so we basically had the place to ourselves. Was sunny and crisp November day, perfect for sitting outside. We opted out of "catch it yourself" and let the establishment... Concept is good, catching your own fish but it wasn't what I expected. I took my 3 grandsons (7,4,2 years old). They fished separately, one at a time, assisted by adult helper. HE put he fish bait on the hook, handed them a pole, put the line in the water, told them where to stand, moved the pole around to... More
