We love eating at the Apple Barn and try to make sure we visit at least once each trip. Breakfast is really good but so is dinner...and lunch too. I had the Bananas Foster Pancakes and they were so good. I also love to look through the stores and pick up a few jars of Apple Butter to take home.

We ate here as a family for Sunday lunch. The serving were large with plenty of food going home with us. I had the chicken sampler (Chk and dumplins, fried and pot pie). They were ok with limited on taste. My wife had the fried catfish. The serving was huge and had a great taste. You can get gravy on... More

SO much food! Food is served family style and everything on the lunch menu came with three courses. There was no way possible that I could eat the either meal that was suppose to be for a single person. And it was so tasty. Homestyle cooking done right! The building itself was lovely. It is set in an old home... More

This is a unique store/restaurant that carries all kind of wonderful apple products and gift from preserve, apple cider, cookbook, apple chips, apple fruit cakes, and decorative mountain-style decorated gifts. Allow extra time to eat and browse. The food is really good.

Apple pies and cakes melt in your mouth. Gift shop is nice and if you are into wine they have samples. A must try is the fried chicken plate, mashed potatoes with gravy.

This place is my favorite breakfast place in the area. The white bisquit gravy is the best I ever had. The apple fritters are yummy (they're like hush puppies but made of apples and other deliciousness). They give you apple butter to dip the fritters in and it's to die for as well.

If you're not having a meal, most can see this stop in an hour. We started toward the back of the parking lot at the store, which is much larger than you'd expect and has every kind of gift (candles, soaps, fritter mix, apple (peach, pumpkin) butter, salsas, jams, trinkets, t-shirts, fresh apples, gallons of cider, etc., etc. Fun to... First night in town we were referred to this place. I was skeptical at first, tried to convince the wife to go to one of the other 100 place places in town. Turns out this was one of our favorite places. The food was good as well as service. Afterwards walked through the shops buy the Apple fritter batter and... More

We love the general store here and always stop when we are vacationing for apple butter or other goodies. We had never eaten at the restaurant before. It was amazing!! The apple fritters were delicious and the Chicken and dumplings were the best I ever had and my husband said that was the best chicken livers he has ever had.... More
