We visit the Gatlinburg area several times a year and every time we go back we eat here. This place has the best service and great food. It is family owned and has specials as well as a regular menu. The Massaman curry is the best I have eaten. I recommend this place to anyone visiting

A simple, clean, bright dining spot in a strip mall. Terrific service and spot-on Thai food. We loved the chicken Panaang curry (our favorite of the two) and the Pad Thai (we had ours with tofu and vegetables but you can choose chicken, pork, vegetable, tofu, shrimp or a combo for all dishes). Brown rice option tasted great with the... More

Liked the cleanliness of the restaurant. Waiters were polite and helpful in picking menu. Small, non-crowded. Menu had variety dishes, and very delicious. Price very affordable! Didn't like that it's a little hidden, so hard to find. We went there on the recommendation of our hotel staff. Even with good directions, we still went past it a couple of times... More

This awesome Thai restaurant is outside the normal tourist traffic areas, but relatively easy to find and definitely worth the effort. The food was fresh, properly prepared and delicious. Our server was sweet, friendly and attentive. We highly recommend a stop at the Thai Basil.

I had a side of Thai hot sauce. It was amazing. Tofu was a good consistency for the meal. Would dine again. Great service. Small hole in the wall place beside Staples. A little hard to see as it is hidden behind Staples banner.

Great flavors, great prices, and wonderful service. I love this place! Even my kids love it and they are picky eaters.

The food was really good. The service was a little slow but they were really busy and short handed as they had a help wanted sign in the window. We would go back.

As a frequent visitor to the Smoky Mountains, one gets used to lots of BBQ, fried green tomatoes and country ham. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised to stumble onto a little Thai restaurant on the parkway headed into Sevierville, Tennessee. Thai Basil is family-owned and operated authentic Thai spot with excellent dishes from sweet to ultra spicy. The... More

I have a hard time going to ethnic places to eat because usually they are not good, over priced and the service leaves something to be desired especially in a tourist town which I am used to as I live in the area but My wife and I visit Thai Basil and we were seated quickly were able to order...
