For the apple lover

We ate at the creamery, which was good if you like apples. We had several types of apple donuts. The whole experience at the Applewood was nice.

It's not the best I've had but a decent treat. It cost about $5 per person for a double scoop. One of the ice creams I received had a gritty/sandy texture to it. I'm not certain what causes this with ice cream, but it's not the first time I experienced it. The waffle cones were fresh when we visited.

This is the place for Real Home made ice cream served with a smile in an old timey atmosphere! It is well worth the extra calories after the Apple barn!

I don't know anyone that doesn't like homemade ice cream. If you do, I would suggest this place for a treat. While you are here you should be sure to walk around and visit the General Store.

Ordered their Banana split! It was the best I ever had!! Workers could have been more on the friendly side. But wouldn't let it hinder going back.

Order any of the apple flavored ice creams. They are made here. I ordered the apple walnut fudge and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Had been a couple times in past. Staff seemed a little off. I understand the frustration of having to work with us vacationers but we are after all the lifeblood of the economy, show a little more enthusiasm for the job. A smile goes a long way. Apple cobbler ala mode was good.

This is a regular stop when in this area. Love the home made icecreams. So many flavors to choose from and homemad breads. Enjoyed the afternoon treat and the scenic area and other stores along this strip.

While there were a lot of people enjoying the ice cream, they offer much more. Homemade cookies and candy, and our choice, sweet breads and muffins. We chose apple cinnamon bread and apple pumpkin muffins. Both were moist and delicious.
