Typical of Tennessee, the wait staff treats you like family. Ours sat at the table to chat before he took our order --like he knew us forever. He told us the portions were generous, which they were and our choice of baby backs was a good one. We also got the brisket. It wasn't as impressive as the fall -off... More

The food was so good. It was hot and fresh. The menu had a lot of variety. I felt the portion sizes could have been better for the price. But I would definitely visit again if I was in the area.

My last visit to Tony Gore's was a disappointment, but since I had previously had so many good visits to there, I decided to give it another chance. Unfortunately, this visit simply confirmed for me that this restaurant has definitely gone downhill. Several friends and I decided to eat here for New Year's Eve. We were seated fairly quickly, but... More

Not far from highway. Big sandwich loved the baked beans and creamy mac and cheese. Fair price (sandwich and side was $9) . Has that family owned friendly feel.

Stopped in here the sunday after Christmas for a late lunch. Restaurant was near empty with dirty tables. They cleaned us one in the back as the tables near the door were a little less desirable due to the cold weather that day. One waitress was working while others just hung around. My wife ordered the pulled pork and I... More

Delicious and should leave room for dessert. Brisket sandwich is my choice. Onion rings are the best I have ever had! I have visited a number of times and bring my friends. In cool weather, there is no outside seating. Can be a wait at times. Staff is friendly and service is good.

Stopped by on a 2 day trip to Piegon Forge. We both had BBQ pork sandwich with home made cole slaw, and corn bread balls. The sandwich was excellent fresh and good smoke flavor. The slaw cold crips and very fresh. The corn bread made with sweet corn inside was tasty and I could have made a meal of them.... More

Best ribs ever, awesome, and the side dishes are to die for. And gospel music all the time. The kids enjoyed the dishes as much as we did. And don't forget the homemade desserts by Tony Gore.

We always pass this place on our way to Gatlinburg and say we need to stop there. This time we did and it was well worth it. Beef brisket sandwitch was about the best I've had. It was Christmas Day and there were only a couple people there. Tony brought out some ham he had made and gave us a... More

I have eaten ribs in more than 55 restaurants and probably most establishments that offer ribs in the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area over the last 20 years or so I have been vacationing here. I can say that Tony Gore's baby backs are number one in the Smokies hands down and number two on my all-time list. The ribs were literally... More
