A Yummy Lunch!

We took Trip Advisor's recommendation with this restaurant. It was very good. The BBQ was delicious. We also loved the onion rings and little corn tots/fritters. It is a small restaurant and the service was very, very slow. My only other complaint would be that they do not add the BBQ sauce to... read more

Best BBQ ever. Ribeyes are smoked, then cooked and ours was extremely tender. Pulled pork was so good I ate most of it without sauce, although the sauce was also terrific. Enormous slices of delicious cake for dessert, too.

My husband and I were really looking forward to our first meal at Tony Gore's! Unfortunately we were disappointed. 1. Tea very weak 2. small sides 3. Hardly any pork...3 bites at best...on the stuffed pork potato for $10.00!!! 4. Beef Brisket was good but again for a $10.00 sandwich, you would expect more Beef! 5. Server was not very... More

The ribs are my usual favorite. Tried the fried chicken this time and it was very good! The salad bar is not good, so skip it(unless you like brown iceberg lettuce, and limited selection). They have huge desserts. If you are there and they have the chocolate elegance cake, definitely try it. Not a fan of the carrot cake. My... More

We enjoyed the relaxing, friendly atmosphere. Gospel music was playing in the background which we really liked. We had fried green tomatoes as an appetizer ( delicious), and bbq for the meal.

We read reviews for this restaurant and decided to give it a try. Not sure what barbecue everyone else on the site ate, but it wasn't what we had. We waited an hour and a half to get our food AFTER we ordered. When it arrived, the ribs were burnt and the barbecue sauces were gross. Not what I would... More

My husband and I stopped here on our way from the Smoky Mountains to Nashville on Monday, July 13th. We had been driving all day and were starving!! We had just drove through Gatlinburg and didn't want to get stuck at the tourist traps there, so we pressed on. I cannot tell you how glad I am that we kept... More

We stop by Tony Gore's every time we get to the Sevierville area. The food as a whole is good. We have noticed that things can be a little hit or miss from one time to the next. Usually everything is spot on when Tony is there. The deserts are always fantastic and are large enough for several people to... More

Our hotel, the Clarion Inn, Willow River, recommended Tong Gore's Smoky Mountain BBQ and we are glad they did. Great BBQ, friendly service and good prices. Those that had ribs, were saying the ribs were the best! Worth the drive from Pigeon forge to Sevierville or I-40. Locally owned and operated. BTW, Tony Gore is a gospel singer and christian...
