We were out for the day hitting some local attractions and shops and stopped here on a whim. So glad we did. We had a great lunch - bbq for the grown ups; blt and hot dog for the kiddies. The gracious woman running the kitchen let my picky 8yo try the wheatberry bread to see if she would enjoy... More

On our most recent visit in the Smokies, we ate at this restaurant twice. All 4 of us were quite happy with the food. The baked chicken salad was especially noteworthy; and, we all loved the baked potato salad. The staff clearly take pride in the food they serve. We became particularly fond of the woman who takes the orders.... More

Off the beaten path, but well worth the short trip. My husband swears it's the best brisket he's ever had! Everything we ordered was delicious and we will be back again next year!

We fell upon this restaurant on our way back from tubing and I was looking for a "Tennessee home town eatery" definite feel of Cracker Barrel but there was a little cafe. This older woman greeted us and was very pleasant "Granny cooking" my husband ordered the cheese steak sandwich and I had the pulled pork (made on premises) sandwich.... More

Moonshine Ridge was an unplanned lunch stop. We had just finished a morning at the Smokey Mountain Coaster attraction and were headed toward Townsend and Treemont. It was an unusually cool and breezy summer day making the screened in porch setting delightful. We first entered the store which was somewhat reminiscent of Cracker Barrel only much larger and filled with... More

Returning from a day in Smoky Mountains we were hungry and happened upon the Moonshine Ridge Cafe and decided to stop. Upon entering the cafe we noticed it was clean and we were greeted immediately. The main fare and sides were simple but unbelievably delicious. The staff was very friendly. Recommend the smoked chicken salad sandwich, philly cheesesteak, and potato... More

The restaurant was great! The food was so good and the staff was incredibly friendly. We were able to talk to the owner, and she was very sweet. The store is awesome as well! You can test various foods, and the fudge was great! Grabbed a few souvenirs as well. Great stop!

Cute store with amazing fudge. They allow you to taste the fudge before you buy it. We went twice during our vacation to buy fudge.

Very good food. Service a little slow but with the wait! We stopped at the store and then the fabulous smells drew us in! Glad we took the detour!

Quick lunch before a trip out on the river. Service was excellent and food was great! Cute country atmosphere. Exactly what is to be expected in a cafe setting!
