Friendly atmosphere and good food!

After a long day in the smoky mountain national park on our way back to our cabin we decided to stop at the moonshine ridge cafe for some food. There is not a large selection of food, but that is just fine, because what the do have to offer is very good. When you walk into the cafe you place... read more

Can't rave enough about this one! We were in town 4 days and I picked this for our "must do" list after finding it on the internet and so glad that I did! Got there for a 1:30pm lunch - since it was devine outside, we sat on the tiny porch outside the "café"...perfect! Marie was our waitress and took... More

Found this joint by chance and we were starving. The brisket was sliced thin, smoky, and delicious. Sides ordinary but good. I rocked on the front porch while the family checked out the gift shop--not my scene, bro.

Heading out of the Smokies and looking for lunch, we stumbled upon this place outside Pigeon Forge on Wear Valley Road. The large tourist shop has typical trinkets - complete with a fudge shop. We were hungry for something more solid. The little restaurant on the side of the building has a small menu of country food. We decided on... More

I stopped in this nice shop on our way out of town. The store sold several mountain-type decorations and offered samples of jams, jellies, salsas, etc. The workers were very pleasant and offered samples of the fudge, and asked what type you'd like to try. The fudge was amazing. Very soft and fresh. The whole store was very well kept,... More

Every time we go down Wears Valley Road, we always stop at Moonshine Ridge Cafe. They have really amazing decor for your home as well as various food items; homemade fudge, Jake & Amos salsa's (best I've ever had), honey, BBQ sauces, etc. Best part is you can sample almost all of the food items. There's a lot of old... More

I did not eat at the Café but the Moonshine Ridge Country Store is unique and has lots of neat gifts. Very friendly folks and a really nice place to stop and visit and pick up a few gifts and check out the jellies, jams, relishes and so forth that you can sample before you buy. They are all delicious.

This is just a little deli attached to a little store that has free samples of sauces, salsas, nut butters, etc. Myself and my friend both had Ruben sandwiches and her daughter had a grilled cheese. All were excellent. Probably one of the best rubens I have ever had. Very limited seating inside. Lots of seating outside but it was... More

I had pot pie and a taste of blackberry cobbler with French Vanilla hot chocolate. The pot pie was just phenomenal! Perfectly cooked inside and out. Pastry was amazing. Blackberry cobbler was pretty good, but I was stuffed. The seating is outside with a fireplace, but a tiny bit cramped. Loved the lady who took our order... What a sweetheart... More
