The place was a little empty and dark, but the food was good and service was nice. We were seated at a table with an unpleasant couple but I had no complaints about the staff. Prices were pretty typical with plates starting about $12. Our chef was reasonably friendly and lived out near our home a couple hours away. so... More

My wife and I love to come and eat here. To us it's the best Japanese food around. It's definitely worth checking out if you've never been to a Japanese hibachi style restaurant or ate Japanese food. The chefs are very friendly as well as the staff. We always look forward to taking our friends and family here.

We dined yesterday for lunch, I was pleasantly surprised, but the flavor and food was very good. I would go back again. The decor is a little outdated though

Ate supper on August 5th. The food was delicious and the prices very reasonable(a 15 percent off coupon helps). Service was a bit slow but very good. Meal was one of the best tasting Japanese meals I have ever had. We look forward to our next visit.

Dined here on a Monday night. Not crowded when we got there, but filled up. We were in a good mood, when we asked the server, "How are you today?" He said "Not that good." We waited an acceptable amount of time for the Hibachi chef, whose show style was, frankly, a bit caustic. Maybe not my sense of humor,... More

My boyfriend and I are on a vacation in Pigeon Forge, and I had a craving for Asian food. I looked on here for a place and saw that Kinkaku had some good reviews. The Hibachi show that was put on when the chef was making our food was awesome. Everyone was very friendly and the chef made sure to... More

Kinkaku is still one of the top five restaurants in the Pigeon Forge Area. They've done a little remodeling and the atmosphere is still outstanding. Tonight we had a chef named Bernie who absolutely was the most interactive and hospitable hibachi chef we've encountered (and one of the best cooks too!) There was another family at our table with three... More

I went with my husband and two teen boys while on vacation. It was a good experience. Our chef was entertaining and engaging. Between us we tried nearly every meat -- filet mignon, shrimp, scallops, chicken, and lobster. All were delicious except the scallops, which were really chewy. Meals come with fried rice AND noodles. We go to places like... More

I'll be honest...when my wife suggested this place while we were walking around Pigeon Forge, I was less than enthusiastic about it....but I was pleasantly surprised. I've been to a number of these places, and many of them are terribly over-priced. This place had an excellent lunch menu with great prices. The whole staff was very pleasant and attentive. Our...
