I was looking for something different than the meat and sides that I had had for dinner the past two nights. I ordered the shrimp scampi: Large succulent shrimp pan-sauteed with sliced mushrooms and chopped garlic, tossed with angel hair pasta and fresh basil in a white wine, lemon butter sauce. Garnished with roma tomatoes and Parmesan cheese. The waiter... More

It's been years since we've been to Johnny Carino's and since Pigeon Forge had one, we had go. This one did not disappoint! The Italian Chicken Nachos were as great as we remembered and the Grilled Chicken Bowtie Pasta was even better! My son got the lasagna and really enjoyed it but then tasted my pasta and liked that even... More

Food was not up to Carino standards. Chicken tasted like processed chicken with spongy like texture . Marsala was very oily and no flavor .. Server was very apologetic and a manager came and apologized . Re-ordered 1 dish ... Server said he gave us one dish at half price but after checking the bill in the car , it... More

We ate at this restaurant last week for lunch. My husband got mac and cheese with bacon, chicken and mushrooms...he could not eat it all. I ordered lasagna and it was wonderful..Service was great and will go back next trip.

My husband, daughter, and I came here on august 15th for dinner. We were excited since we don't have any of these where we live and remember our last experience being a good one. I ordered the chicken bowtie dish and my husband ordered the spaghetti skillet with sausage. Mine was okay but not good enough to finish and my... More

After leaving Cave Cove in the afternoon, we decided to stop at a restaurant. On my wife’s birthday, we had received a certificate of $25 to eat at the following restaurants: Bullfish Grill, Blue Moose Burgers & Wings, Carino’s Italian Grill, Timberwood Grill, and Mellow Mushroom. I figured these restaurants were owned by the same person. We selected Carino’s Italian... More

Went here for your last meal on vacation. We were tired of poor BBQ, so we tried Italian. The food was really good. First you get fresh baked loaf of bread with olive oil and seasonings. We ordered the chicken parmesan and shrimp scampi. The chicken was juicy and the breading had tons of flavor, the sauce was light and... More

We were trying to stay away from the normal chain restaurants during this vacation but having a taste for Italian food and the large variety of Italian food on their menu when we looked it up on the Internet we decided to try it out anyway. Not a disappointment. I ordered the lasagna...very authentic and fresh tasting. The pastas were... More

This was our first time to a Johnny Carino's. The server was pretty impersonal. The bread was really good. We each had the lasagna for our lunch and shared a piece of the lemon cream cake for desert. My husband liked his lasagna, but I didn't really care for mine. I have had better. It wasn't terrible, just not the... More
