I live within 30 miles of this tourist town and visit often. The best way to avoid a long wait at this eatery is to avoid going on the weekend if possible. Also, try and go between 2 and 4 so you can get the lunch price without such a long wait. As far as the food, some of the... more

Be prepared to wait- it's one of the best stops in Pigeon Forge. Food is outstanding, variety is perfect, because they are so busy it's a little noisy. the shops at the OLD MILL area are fun, so plan on time to go thru them as well. Country store, candy shop, kitchen store, and more. It's a half a day trip.... more

The Old Mill is apparenly one of the hot spots in town for tourist but overall, we had a good experience. We arrived at approximately 4:30 PM and were immediately seated at a window seat with a view of the river. It was great because it was snowing as well. Our service was friendly and prompt, but it is like... more

Of course everyone has there preference of how to spend time in a destination. This Restaurant and its reputation may be great for some but not for us. To wait an hour or more in line, and then to be treated like cattle some cattle require more land to graze, some less. Some thrive in warmer weather, others cannot stand... more

I am sure the food is great (per other reviews) but I never got in the door to eat. We arrived just after 4pm on Saturday Dec. 5th and the place was packed. We put in our reservations and grabbed a menu to review as we waited. This is what we didn't know and what others should know.... **EVERY MEAL... more

this is absolutely a 5 star southern food restaurant at it's best-our only regret is that we did not discover it earlier-wonderful food, service and atmosphere-we will definitely make this a must stop each time we are in the area-for the value the absolute best! Warren & Karen Butcher more

#1?? This place is number one?? Yikes...I'm afraid to think of what these reviewers must be eating at home. If this menu qualifies as good food, then you don't know what good food tastes like. I was similarly displeased at Paula Dean's restaurant (well... at least at the Paula & Son's joint). I had my expectations set VERY high, based... more

everything excellent. I recommend the fried chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and green beans. This is my favorite place to eat when in PF area. There is nothing else close to this place. more

The food is excellent and they give huge portions. We had to wait for about an hour, but it was well worth it. more
