Last time we were in the Smokey Mountains we tried Almo's sister location and loved their BBQ. So this time we decided to try a steak at Alamo. The restaurant is very loud inside, lots of hard surfaces and open area. The noise level was okay until they seated an arguing couple with 3 unruly children next to us. At... More

We have been to the restaurant many times and have loved it. It is one of our favorites. This year the food was not quite as good as it had been previously; so, I don't think it was true to the price that we had to pay. The service was a bit slower, but there were not as many customers.... More

Staff extremely friendly, almost to point it looks mandatory but welcomed. Place was clean, bathroom cleans. Food was average at best. Wife and I each had steaks and found both to average. Price is another thing, extremely high. $80 dollars for sirloin and rib-eye. Other restaurants in area are less than half and have better food. I don't mind paying... More

Steaks were good not great. I had NY Strip and child had sirloin. I may have missed it though adult menu could use a standard sirloin (only saw on kids menu). The horseradish I got on the side had little flavor much less bite. Was almost like dippin it in mayonnaise. My child typically devours small sirloins at even chain... More

Me and my son shared a huge steak as they are big. Cooked perfectly and was so tender and juicy. The dessert that comes in the big glass boot is very good. The atmosphere is nice and the service was good. It is a little expensive, but worth every bite. The mini golf right outside is really nice too. It's... More

Went here on vacation and expected a great place, but disappointed. The steak was not cooked correctly. And it was drowning in grease. The staff was very friendly, though. The remaining party continued eating and when my food arrived all was finished. Should have been given a discount on my food, but didn't. Will not return......

Food was good, but, a bit pricey for the quality. We ordered the filet, which was good, but, not excellent; tender, but, not as flavorful as expected for the price. Great salads!! The chocolate burrito for dessert was scrumptious!! Save room for it!!

Smokies veterans and hands down the best filet I've ever had. Not crazy about the brown sugar butter for sweet potatoes but overall an excellent dining experience. Service fantastic. Good quality food costs money and it's not cheap. But don't complain about prices when you want top notch. A regular stop for us. After 6 years, never disappointed.
