Place is a great bagel shop, I had the chicken salad on a sporty bagel and it was quite delicious! They also have a wood fired brick oven. Friendly staff! OK... running out of things to say about a bagel place :).

Great bagel shop. It reminds of all the little bakeries from when I lived in New Jersey. Every time I have friends visit from back home we stop there.

My definition of perfect pizza includes a crispy thin crust and fresh ingredients. That's how they make pizza at Hot Bagel! Your personal pizza comes out of the wood fired oven (imported from Italy) hot and delicious. If you haven't tried their pizza, you are missing out. The bagels are unmatched also--nothing like the fake bagels served at nationwide chains.

The title says it all...the owner is a Steelers fan and won't let you forget it! Decor is very untastefully done with all the Steelers stuff all over the place, yuck! However, on the bright side, the bagels are fantastic...the cherry turnovers yummy...and the eclairs WOW. Bakery goods remind me of the NJ bakeries. They serve wood fired pizza, sandwiches,... More

I have been going here since Donna and her husband some 20 years ago opened in the Manhattan Shopping Place. First the bagels: they researched how bagels should really be made from the dough to the cooking method. I have eaten at the top rated places in NY and theirs are better than most you can find there. The bagels... More

Saw this restaurant on a PBS TV program and looked it up on tripadvisor. The reviews were great so I went to its website to check out the menu and store hours. Got up early and headed out Saturday morning and got to the place only to find it closed. Saturday hours (sign posted in the window new hours) 7... More

Just ate lunch at the Hot Bagel Company, as we do on every visit to Oak Ridge (once or twice a year). The bagels are superb, better than any we can find anywhere in Iowa. I'm not sure that bagels I've had in New York or Chicago are any better. The owners are the Sullivan's, Donna and Tom, and are... More

I am a very experienced bagel eater, and these were the best I have had in a non bagel area of the country. A NY bagel has a thin chewy outer later that is rarely copied elsewhere. If you aren't used to NY bagels, these are certainly superior to most. I like how my smoked salmon was hand sliced by... More

Love hot bagel! Would eat them daily if my diet allowed. They are fresh, they are good and the owners will give you a daily smile. Again, as a hotelier, it is a place regularly recommended and a product that we use on a regular basis

Hot Bagel Company is one of the special treats of Oak Ridge cuisine. The cafe specializes in bagels, coffees, and teas, and is great lunch or breakfast spot. The service is very friendly, and the staff aims to please. They also offer bakery items like cookies should you want to take home a sweet treat. The owner is a proud... More
