We are located in historic Jackson Square. This property once housed Jackson Square pharmacy. After 55 years in the same family this property became available because the previous owners wished to retire. We were lucky to get it. We renovated and tried to keep as much of the original charm as possible. We hope you like it.

Delicous food with a home town feel

This is a great place to go when you want to try something that isn't a chain. Oak Ridge has a fair amount of dining choices considering the size of the city. Dean's is worth your trip to the "other" side of town. The meal choices they offer reflect diner/home cooking. Prices are reasonable... read more

Dean's is excellent. I spent ten weeks at the National Forensic Academy in Oak Ridge and we ate lunch at Dean's two or three days each week. The menu is elegant in it's simplicity and the pot roast is incredible. The price is great for the portions. Highly recommend!!!!

This hospitable place repeatedly accommodated several students from the National Forensic Academy while on our lunch break. Service was friendly and fast. Food was always fantastic. Thank you so much for having us!

Have eaten here several times. Their salmon and pork loin are out of this world! Prices are reasonable especially considering the quality of the food. Oh yeah, great French fries and grilled vegtables.

Awesome food. Always fresh and cooked to perfection. I will eat here every chance I get. The wait staff is very well manored and always willing to help. Thank you for an amazing dinner.

I love veggies and they are so hard to find. I had scalloped potatoes, collard greens, fresh corn on the cob. All were great. The turkey was a little dry, but that happens.

If you want a burger that is different than others this is the place to go. They are bigger than what you would find at other restaurants. Topped off with mushrooms and swiss...it makes for a unique taste because there is also a smokey flavor to it. It was suggested to me to try the baked beans and they were... More

Dean's says they offer Soulful. Southern. Comfort. And they don't disappoint! The food is incredible, you have to try the roasted squash. Everything from salmon to chicken and dumplings to turkey club sandwiches, you just about cant go wrong. Reasonably priced 10-12$ per person and well worth it for the atmosphere. Very laid back and friendly with great servers. I'll... More

We had dinner at Deans. The food was really good. Spoilt it by going for the cake. Much too sweet. Should have known better. I'll have the pie next time.

I've eaten here a bunch of times in the past and did not realize that they had changed their theme. Encountering the hostess, I was confused; thinking I had stumbled into Hooters or Twin Peaks. No, I checked the sign: "Dean's" Clearly the hostess felt, as reflected in her clothes selection (deep plunge up front, painted-on jeggings), that she needed... More
