Thanksgiving was wonderful

This was our second year to enjoy the Thanksgiving buffet. This isn't like just going out to a restaurant to eat... this is a real treat. We love the atmosphere of the rustic country mill and water running over the dam on the Duck River below. The buffet was great... traditional turkey and ham but... read more

Fantastic service and wonderful food. I do wish more care had been taken to remove the trash caught at the dam -- easily seen from the dining window and from the outside deck. I also would like them to get a liquor license, but I understand that is quite costly. Shrimp with gouda grits was wonderful!

Very friendly staff and service. Country style with surprizingly upscale wine and food. Check out the wine dinners.

We had a rehearsal dinner hear for the wedding of our daughter. A beautiful venue (the old watermill), with sleeping rooms for tired children. A very nice room for drinks (also on the deck). Then the excellent 7 course dinnet, topped off eith excellent drinks and spirits. The staff was very committed, friendly and professional. Everything turned out to be... More

This is the favorite restaurant of my husband and I. We love to attend the monthly theme wine tasting dinners. We held our company Christmas Party here in 2014 and the buffet was outstanding. Mason is an incredible young and creative chef with an attentive waitstaff. David the owner is always a delight and adds interesting facts to every meal.... More

The host explained that the origin of the Christmas day lunch at the restaurant was the family meal prepared at Grandma's on holidays. And just like at grandma's house there was a gift on the table at each place. One of ours was a small calculator. The quality and variety of food was outstanding. I admit that the ambiance of... We had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner here. With the exception of the tough roast beef, the food was very good. Lots of yummy sides and excellent desserts. We would definitely go back.

My husband & I go here about every 3 months. It is usually for the special themed dinners & cooking demonstrations. The new chef, Mason, is great at creating dinners & desserts using unexpected ingredients. There is always wine matched up to each part of the dinner & plenty to go around. We have learned several useful tips in preparing... More

Went for a fun outing with David and his family to celebrate his Mom's recent birthday! Ate at Cortner Mill (located in an old gristmill dating back to 1825) - had a fabulous gourmet meal with dessert for just a few dollars more than a meal at KFC! If you are looking for a fun spring get-away with picturesque views... More
