Very nice

Very nice. This place primarily focus on steaks and that is their specialty. Go here for their 100 percent authentic Japanese Wagyu steak.

This is an amazing place, the home the restaurant is in now was built I the 1800's we were told, along with a wonderful little history of how it came to be. The inside is charming with a great ambiance. And to say the food was wonderful would be down playing it.. The best meal we had the whole time... More

We ate at this restaurant last Saturday and is was terrific. This is a small restaurant in an historic building with only around 12-15 tables. We had a nice quiet dinner, the wine was good and the steak my wife had and the lamb chops I had were both very good. I highly recommend this restaurant

Old style steakhouse that has a very old world feel. Steaks are excellent, but the seafood so so. Available wines are decent, but not great. Ambiance and service are quite good. Keep in mind, I'm not one that gives good places a 5 rating so my three stars are usually indicative of a good place. I save 5 stars for... More

An absolutely wonderful evening away from the mayhem of Broadway. The service is both friendly and impeccable without being stuffy. The food is excellent---it is a steak place and you cannot go wrong with any of those picks. Try the fried green tomato appetizer. The topper of the night was when we asked the maitre d to call a cab... More

We were in town for the Paul McCartney concert, so many of the restaurants in the immediate vicinity of Bridgestone Arena were booked. Plus they were noisy and cramped, so we elected to walk a few blocks to get out of the Broadway area. We were so glad we did! The Standard at Smith House is the last of the... More

.From our entry into The Standard, we knew our concierge had given us a wonderful experience. We were seated in the front dining room by Billy ( a terrific maitre de with lots of stories) and treated like kings and queens by our waiter Jeff. The fried green tomatoes were superb, the brussel sprouts made me actually "like" brussel sprouts!... More

This was by far the dining highlight of our trip to Nashville. I let them know I was a celiac, and they provided me with a fabulous dinner that wasn't "just a salad". The interior is beautifully appointed, and if we make it back to Nashville it's definitely on the must list.

The food was great. Steak cooked perfectly. I ordered the Standard Filet and it was excellent. Staff was friendly and prompt. It's a bit on the pricey side, but if you are looking for a unique dinning experience with great food, this is the place.

As part of a meeting I had in Downtown Nashville, TN, we had dinner at The Standard Club. WOW, this place is awesome! I had one of the best steaks I have ever had. You didn't even need a knife to cut it and truly mouth-watering. All the food I had was great! Service was unbelievable. I felt like a... More
