You wouldn't know what to expect of this place, near a nude bar, huge liquor store and other general bars. The smell in the air is like a spa. White table cloths adore open tables but the lighting is dim for that romance feel. They are known for the great cocktails and great wine selection. We were there for a... More

The noise level is high. By the end of our meal( 9 or so) it was almost impossible to be heard across the table. Absolutely no criticism of the service. Our server was knowledgable and helpful. We appreciated her wine recommendations. The starters were the "star" for us. Entrees less successful. The three of us ordered the charcuterie board, asparagus,squash... More

First visit to this notable restaurant with an acclaimed chef! Our party of 9 was seated in a private room with kitchen viewing which made a fantastic food and service experience even more special. The food is fresh, perfectly prepared, inventive, and professionally presented. The wine list is the best I've seen in Nashville. Notable food items: Sourdough - made... More

I've eaten here several times and each time the meal has been delicious. I've had the pork as well as the steak, both of which were seasoned perfectly and were tender. I've also had their soup sampler which was exceptional. The red wine blend picked by the waiter was delicious and complemented by meal. We were seated promptly and didn't... More

Nashville has a number of "It" restaurants right now, where reservations are hard to come by. Flyte somehow is not on the "It List," but the quality of its food is up to the competition. An early entry into Nashville's farm to table movement, Flyte serves thoughtful, seasonal dishes without pretension at its location on the east side of the... More

If you're in Nashville and don't want to eat local BBQ or southern flavors and have the money to spend then I'd recommend this place. It's pricey but the meal was great. The menu is a little eclectic, but not one person in our group of 18 had any complaint.

I visited Flyte last night with my husband, parents, my brother and his fiance. We wanted to go somewhere special to celebrate my mom's birthday. We had reservations at 8:30 and when we arrived at 8:15 they seated us immediately. Our server (Adam, I believe) was extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the menu, the chef, the local farms, and... More

I came here as a trio of girls for a girls weekend and we absolutely loved Flyte World. We each ordered different appetisers and entres and shared a dessert and everyone really loved what they ordered. I especially loved my rainbow trout with spaghetti squash. The embience is great with good lighting and spaced tables and the noise level was... More

Went here for a date. The atmosphere and vibe is really nice - quiet (for a restaurant) and well spaced tables, very cool decor. The servers all were extremely nice and friendly, definitely the best part of our experience. Unless you're a huge biscuit fan, I'd stay away from the drop biscuit - not much flavor and dry. The Bear... More

I traveled from Tucson to Nashville and loved dining at a contemporary place which values local food. We shared the beet salad and loved the garlicky sauce! My cauliflower and Brussels sprout vegetarian entree was delicious, though pricey. My spouse had the trout over spaghetti squash which he thought was wonderful. We shared a chocolate desert which was good, but... More
