Fun and Flavorful

First, I would complement the staff on accommodating our group. Who knew they would be booked solid on a Monday night? My open table reservation for 8:15 was actually for Tuesday, but they squeezed us in quickly. Once at our table, our server delivered a cup of popcorn, which is a fun change... read more

There are two menu's, one for upstairs and one for downstairs, big price difference. Food great, but service slow and music and noise in the place way too loud. Fried appetizers and fishing tacos were very good.

On very high recommendations I went to the Merchants Restaurant, We arrived without reservations to a 45 minute wait. The restaurant offered to text us when our table was ready. We were going to wait at the bar but there were no seats available there either, so we left and went to the Hilton bar about a block away. About... More

Shortly after arriving in Nashville we decided to have some food before our bar crawl adventures. Loved the atmosphere immediately after walking in, it has a more "classy" feel compared to most of the places located down Broadway. We weren't completely impressed with the female bartender, we sat for a while before finally being greeted and she didn't seem very... More

My wife and I ate here twice during our recent Nashville trip. The first time was excellent. We were seated quickly, even though it was busy, and were greeted immediately by our server and the food came quickly. The second time we visited it was a different story. From the moment we ordered a table after walking in until we... More

I have eaten here before on other trips and am never disappointed. Whether on the main floor or upstairs for a late dinner, the food and atmosphere is always great.

We were looking for a not so touristy place for lunch near the old Ryman and country music museums. We noticed lots of suits coming in and out so we gave Merchant's a try. Glad we did. We came in at the height of lunchtime but we're able to find a couple of seats at the bar. My partner tried... More

Even though we checked in at 5:15 on a Saturday night and the wait was an hour or better...the wait was worth it! A bit loud...but what isn't in Nashville! The Southern Fry was great as a Starter, followed by the Jambalaya & BBQ for the two of us. Good music. Very fast service. Can't go wrong!

We headed in to Merchants for lunch, we were lucky enough to get one of the outside tables in the shade. The decor is lovely and a bit of a change from the rest of the places on Broadway, it's certainly a little fancier. The servers were lovely, and I really enjoyed the gentlemen's style, braces & bowties. We had... More
