I read the reviews before going so my expectations were low. I was attending a celebration planned by someone else so I went with the flow. Let me start with the building is very quaint. The service impeccable. The food was the downfall. The specialties are their steaks. Their cuts of meat might be high end but they don't know... More

Came highly rated - but highly over priced! Good service, good selection but absolutely not worth the price. Will be a ride by on our next trip to the Music City. Oh well, live and learn, should have checked Trip Advisor first!

This steakhouse has a shuttle to pick you up from the Gaylord Opryland, so you think that it is going to be very busy and hopping, but the night we were there, there seemed to be very few people here. The steaks were extraordinary, dry aged, wet aged-- all prime and all very expensive, $45-$90 each! The one I had... More

If I could rate this with a negative rating I would. This place is TERRIBLE with a capital T. My family of 18 was in town for a family reunion and made reservations at this place. From about five minutes into our stay we were talked down to and treated as if we were stupid. Our waiter had a smart... More

I second the the review below from August 2nd. I have been to high-end steakhouses all over the country and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. The waitstaff was extremely rude and visibly upset when our party did not order four full courses. Very condescending. My wife steak had to be sent back three times,... More

As one who travel on business and visits numerous steakhouses each month, I can attest that that this establishment is one of the worst I've experienced in many years. I knew prior to arriving that the price point were rather high, but expected that the service and food quality would match accordingly. Such was not the case. The service was... More

Wonderful food, pricey but well worth it. We enjoyed our steak and seafood from start to finish! The place was full of history and relaxed and beautiful to be in. Nice wine selection. Would definitely recommend, but remember to bring your big pocketbook!

My wife and I have been going to the Stock-Yard for ten years now... it's one of my favorite restaurants. And, despite all the recent bad reviews, we decided to go again, and carry family and business associates. Yes, it is rather expensive. But, come on, they advertise it as one of the top ten steakhouses in America and it... More

As to the self-touted Stock Yard, their bombast quite excedes what they actuall deliver to the table. In Nashville, several other steak houses far exceed the quality of their product, esp. considering the extravagent prices. Our experience there on 7/1914 was especially distressing to our son, who hoped to treat us to a super dining experience. He knew the tab... More

My husband and I had a reservation at 730 we arrived at. 720. We sat down and waited and waited after 2-3 the water boy came over to fill our glasses. Then we waited and waited after 5-6 min the waitress comes over and first towards her table behind us then thinks oh I have another table comes to us... More
