First place I went in Nashville for food.. it was pretty good, I've had better bbq, but the fries were good. They had a great band upstairs during lunch and the following night I thought the floor was gonna collapse because it was going crazy. Fun place to go, nice people!

Downtown Nashville is an awesome place for live music, but surprisingly there aren't just too many barbecue joints to pick from. Jack's has a prominent place on Broadway (Nashville's main drag), and although their 'que is delicious, the line usually stretches halfway to the Cumberland River. I found Rippy's across the street and hoped it would be good, too. Fingers... More

We ate lunch at Rippy's. We opted to sit upstairs so that we could see the street action. There was live music upstairs and downstairs. We ordered the sampler platter and two of us shared it. The portions were very generous and we both had plenty. Favorite--pulled pork. Prices are reasonable and food is good. Highly recommend.

The food was good BBQ, but they always seemed to have good live music. Everything was priced decently and it was in a great location on Broadway. Fun late night scene.

Rippy's Smokin' Bar & Grill is on the corner of Broadway across from the Bridgestone arena in the heart of downtown Nashville. It was the first bar we came across looking for a place where we could watch the final match of the soccer World Cup 2014. We had a few beers at the bar while watching the game and... More

This place has amazing food and great service. We were a party of 13 (bacehlorette party), and we were able to find seats during the day. The place was crowded, but not overcrowded. There is great live music here-different bands playing on different floors. This was truly one of my favorite places we visited in Nashville. I think it's because the... More

We went here for food our first night in Nashville, and we felt the service was pretty bad. The place was busy, so we understood that our waiter might be a bit run off his feet, but he was not at all attentive and his attitude was rude. We felt like we were an inconvenience to him just by eating... More

Open sided dinning experience whilst watching live music. Food was adequate. I had slices of pork which came as if they just sliced it off a processed block. This place is just fantastic. Make it one of your must go to bars when you go to Nashville.

We had 18 girls in our bachelorette party and were looking for some food and drinks. The first restaurant told us it would be 2 hours before we got a table. We went outside trying to figure out what to do. Then a guy from the balcony of Rippy's (a band member) waved us to come up the back stairs.... More

Visited Rippy's in Nashville today for lunch. Received prompt service and good food. Live music upstairs and down and lots of people to watch. Would go again. We all ordered the pulled pork sandwich cole slaw and onion rings. All were delicious.
