Rippy's is one of dozens of honkey-tonks on Broadway. Like many others, it is "country" looking, meaning it looks to New Yorkers like a cheap restaurant. You eat on plastic plates with plastic forks and knives, that come wrapped in cellophane. Rippy's has three levels, each with its own live music, so you do have a nice selection. We choose... More

I've been to Nashville many times over the years, lately I've been eating at Jack's BBQ. For some reason I decided to give Rippy's a try this time around, I wish I would have went across the street and eaten at Jacks. My wife ordered the Pork loin melt on Texas toast, she ask the server about the seasoned curly... More

Good location of you like the bar scene in Broadway. You can listen to live music while eating. BBQ ribs are tasty. Service is friendly and excellent. Difficult to eat with plastic cutlery (with paper plates and plastic cups). Overall, above average for grease, but still very tasty. Food was fresh and brought out piping hot.

There were four people in our group and everyone said this was better than any other place in Nashville. The food delicious, service was great, staff was busy, but friendly and made sure we were well taken care of, Truly a wonderful experience and meal.

What more could one ask for when visiting Nashville,TN ? While traveling through Nashville we stopped at Rippy"s to sample some of their BBQ. We weren't disappointed one bit. To add to an already pleasant experience there was not one but two groups playing music. One group played in the front section and another in the opposite side of the... More

Up on the top floor, there are no walls, just a view of Broadway & Bridgestone arena, the smell of BBQ & booze, and music everywhere. Try the pulled pork salad or the ribs; definitely have the ribs!

This is the quintessential Nashville Bar/restaurant. The food was good - pulled pork was very yummy. The band was wonderful. I wouldn't miss a stop here when you are in Nashville!

Group of nine went on early Saturday afternoon and the place was packed. Waitress was great and was very helpful with our large group. BBQ and sauce was better than average. Meals are cheap which is a good thing. If you are looking for some good BBQ right on the Nashville strip then this is the place for you.
