We had friends from out of town visiting and decided we'd all go try out the BBQ at Hog Heaven after seeing them on a Food Network show. The outward appearance is a little scary-- it looks run-down-- but the best food often comes from the worst-looking places!! The chicken with the white sauce was wonderful! I also had baked... More

Had lunch here- food was just OK, nothing special. BBQ pork sandwich with slaw on cornbread. Cornbread could have been a bit sweeter. Staff were efficient and helpful

Since we saw all the great reviews for this place - we decided to go to visit Centennial Park and eat dinner here. We ordered a BBQ pork sandwich and a chicken platter with their famous white sauce, and two lemonades. The food was lukewarm at best. The BBQ pork sandwich was the best thing we ate, the chicken with... More

Snuggled in behind McDonalds this hole in the wall BBQ is worth the visit. Yes parking is hard, and yes those are homeless people walking over from the park, but this is in a good part of town and the food is excellent! Sit down and while you eat you will hear producers, writers, and sometimes stars talk about their day... More

A hole in the wall (literally) that will blow your socks off - great BBQ Great Value. You can eat at the grubby picnic tables, or walk across the street and picnic in Centennial Park. You are going there for the food, not the ambiance, and it is well-worth it. When in Nashville, I never miss it. (note - haven't... More

Loved the stop here. Roadside stand next to the park. There are a few outside tables and a dingy bar, Sweetwaters, is next door. But the BBQ is great and not expensive. I'd go back!

Sure it's this little hole in the wall place but the BBQ is fantastic and the corn bread pancakes are awesome! Pick some up from across Centennial Park and dine out on the lawn looking at the Parthenon. Excellent way to spend a day in sunny Nashville. Seriously a must have when in town!

We got here for a late lunch, the fact that there was only one other customer should have been a warning sign, but I assumed it was because we were after the lunch crowd. It was our first time in Nashville so I don't know how this place measures up to other BBQ places in town, but compared to Texas... More

We were looking for some BBQ and we found it and Hogs Heaven. Within walking distance from the hotel. The sides could be a bit bigger. But all in all it was a nice meal.
