This is just an average meat and three that serves greasy food. Way too much grease for me. Let me say I am from the south (Georgia) and I grew up on southern home cooking and believe me when I say this does not even come close. We were on our way to Kentucky and read the reviews and decided... More

It was a fun experience. The food was a but over salted for my taste. Had the roast beef which was very good. They had a spicy chocolate pie the day i was there...VERY good. Corn pudding was very good too. there is a line but it moves quickly. the staff was very nice. And the price can't be beat.

I can't say enough, wonderful experience all around. When we saw the line out to the street, we considered not waiting, but did anyway. Not only did the line move at a quick rate, it never seemed to get shorter. Once inside, you started wondering if there would be a seat available once you ordered, but they emptied as fast... More

My husband saw this restaurant on a food network show recently so while Nashville we checked it out. They serve typical meat and 3 dishes cafeteria style. As a vegetarian and someone who likes sit down service, I was a little skeptical. I was blown away. Food was excellent, they offer 4 veggies and bread for vegetarians, staff was pleasant... More

At the passionate urging a of a family member, we tried this place for lunch and were delighted. Yes, it is a small place and there is a line for lunch, but the staff and lunch patrons are very friendly, helpful and polite. Had the roast beef, Mac and cheese, and fried green tomatoes-which were the absolute best ones I've... More

A little hole in the wall diner that has the best food. Great southerm cooking. I had the chicken livers with gravy, green beans, and mac n cheese. All 3 were probably the best ive ever ate. I would definitely recommend the diner. Pecan pie was also good.

I LOVE a good meat & 3 and Arnold's is one of the best I have ever found. I had the roast beef, macaroni and cheese and green beans with chocolate pie for dessert. Also had the "corncake" which I almost missed. It looks like a small pancake, but is made with cornbread batter. The corncakes are located with the... More

The roast beef was spectacular and worth the trip. The atmosphere is fun and authentic and we loved the diversity, both racial and economic, of the patrons. These positives are enough to well outweigh the out of the way location, the cramped and dated dining room, and the long line.

There's a line at this place most days all the way out the door. If you have time while you're in Nashville, it's worth the wait. You should try the fried green tomatoes as they are much better there than anywhere else. I can't imagine anything on their menu wouldn't be fantastic though.

Read other reviews and tried it. Excellent roast beef! Definitely get it. Chess pie was also excellent. The other menu items good but go for the roast beef. With dessert and drinks, expect $10+ per person. Portions are rather small, so if you are looking for value, I don't know that this is it. Sweet tea VERY sweet, but maybe... More
