Finally in Nashville between Monday - Friday to check out Arnold's for a meat and three. Soooo glad we got there well before noon (like 11:15am) 'cause the place was full already and the line not so bad. Fantastic BBQ chicken with a sauce that was finger licking - without a doubt. Shoulda had two sides cause the portions were... More

We were vacationing in Nashville and had to come here from the reviews on TA. Well you gotta go here. We got here just at the right time. The line was still inside. When we left the line was 20 people deep!! The food is all homemade and its just a great comfort meal. I'm sure whatever you get will... More

This is without a doubt the best meat and 3 in Nashville. Get there early for lunch, they really pack it in during lunch...but it moves pretty well and people are very courteous. Go there hungry, you will be fed !!!

This place is not fancy, but they know what they're doing. Went with 2 friends and got a to-go plate for my husband who was playing golf. First off, best greens I've ever had. Hands down. And I get them pretty much everywhere I go. But know they are truly Southern-style, with lots of pork and a decent amount of... More

There is a reason the building is painted red - it is so it stands out so you find it! Once inside, now don't judge the book by its pages! Enjoy the chaotic decor and belly up to the...well... cafeteria line. Arnold's is a traditional "Meat-And-3" featuring amazing southern staples that are savory and delicious. A nice selection of meats... More

You are in line with men in business suits, students in Birkenstocks and tourists in Bermuda shorts. You wait to shout your order. You get your food, cafeteria style. It is country food, southern style. Mashed potatoes and gravy. Greens with pot licker. Fried chicken or roast beef. Rolls with butter and don't forget the peach cobbler or pecan pie.... More

It's crappy on the outside, it's not much better on the inside. It's not the healthiest of foods. However, it is fantastic. People are super nice. Line moves very quickly. And the food is phenomenal. Definitely recommend.

Well, thank you Tripadvisor community! You did not disappoint!!! The food at Arnold's is true Southern comfort food. This is an authentic eatery with locals and business people as patrons. This is not a tourist trap. Like other reviews noted, there is a line to get in, so bring a bit of patience and perhaps a bottled water as you... More

Saw many good reviews of Arnolds on Trip Advisor so we thought we should give it a try. Glad we did - it certainly was an experience. Mainly locals and all very friendly. Good food but limited daily choice.

Went in around 11 on a Friday, the line wasn't bad just a few people ahead of us. Got the smoked chicken, fried green tomatoes, green beans, some kind of squash casserole, and fried catfish. 2 drinks added on & it was around $20. Everything was really fresh, the fried green tomatoes were awesome, the chicken was just so so.... More
