It's crappy on the outside, it's not much better on the inside. It's not the healthiest of foods. However, it is fantastic. People are super nice. Line moves very quickly. And the food is phenomenal. Definitely recommend.

Well, thank you Tripadvisor community! You did not disappoint!!! The food at Arnold's is true Southern comfort food. This is an authentic eatery with locals and business people as patrons. This is not a tourist trap. Like other reviews noted, there is a line to get in, so bring a bit of patience and perhaps a bottled water as you... More

Saw many good reviews of Arnolds on Trip Advisor so we thought we should give it a try. Glad we did - it certainly was an experience. Mainly locals and all very friendly. Good food but limited daily choice.

Went in around 11 on a Friday, the line wasn't bad just a few people ahead of us. Got the smoked chicken, fried green tomatoes, green beans, some kind of squash casserole, and fried catfish. 2 drinks added on & it was around $20. Everything was really fresh, the fried green tomatoes were awesome, the chicken was just so so.... More

We loved our visits to Arnold's! Exceptional!! Country cooking at its finest. It is family owned, and they make you feel at home and part of the family. Even though they are widely acclaimed, they remain humble and welcoming. There is a line when they open and are only open from 10:30-2:30. We enjoyed pie when they opened and there... More

We arrived in Nashville on Monday evening and not knowing that it was only open during the day, we were very disappointed that it was closed...so, we got up and got there by 10:30 am, which was when it opened. By the time we left, it was packed to the gills. Get there early and have a bit of everything.

It is a cafeteria style place, but everything that I had was a step above for what it was. Tradional southern comfort food that is a step above; unique and quite good.

The line was out the door at lunch time when we got there on a Thursday afternoon. Don't expect any fancy dining experience. You are strictly here for the food. Its a meat and 2(or 3) sides type place. The roast beef was incredible as well as the fried green tomatoes and mac n cheese! Topped it off with a... More

From the rare roast beef which doesn't require a knife to the spicy collard greens and the homemade peach pie this place is amazing. They have kids meals and a variety of food that changes daily in addition to their main menu quick service friendly people outstanding food at a bargain price.

I was on a trip with my friends and we stopped in Nashville for the night on our way back to Chicago. In the morning we were looking for a good restaurant and ran across Arnolds which has been on tv, in magazines, etc. The place is small and packed with people waiting to walk down the line and pick...
