Okay we tried a breakfast with the country ham and the fried chicken along with the biscuits the place is noted for. This is the type of place you might see on Diners, drive ins, and dives. The biscuits live up to the billing. They are well worth it and probably the best buttermilk biscuit anywhere. The country ham was... more

WOW, the biscuits are incredible!!! So I know why this place is famous. down home cooking and a very good, cheap value. The potato casserole was great and the french toast was truly homemade and awesome! So when we arrived, I started to take pictures of a great Shelby 350GT, it even had an autograph by Carroll Shelby on the... more

The food was great! The wait was loooong but they give you a little buzzer thing so you can wander the grounds and look at the shops. Plan to spend money in their fun stores (biscuit and jam store, fun artsy shop, candy store, etc.) Our wait time was about 1 1/2 hours so plan ahead and expect a wait.... more

So, we're a little obsessed with the Food Network in our house. We've started consulting the website before every trip to see which restaurants have been on showdown with Bobby Flay, Man Vs. Food, or Rachel Ray's various travel and eat cheap shows. (I ignore Rachel, but my husband insists on including her and her low cut shirts...that's a whole... more

Living in the deep South, I've been to many restaurants which claim to have the "Best Biscuits in the World." Well, after eating at Loveless, I can honestly say that they are truly the best I've had anywhere. I ordered a sampler platter with their famous ham, pork BBQ, and fried chicken. I usually don't care much for ham, but... more

I was there quite some time ago, approximately 2007. I had read the rave reviews in Southern Living and was driving to Memphis from Knoxville around lunch time when I noticed the sign for the Loveless Cafe on the parkway. So I stopped for lunch. The Bar-b-Que outside smelled wonderful and I should have followed my nose! I had a... more

Went for breakfast/lunch on a Saturday-wait was 1 hour! And they mean it too. We decided to stay and were glad we did! Great biscuits and preserves, and the fried okra was really some of the best I've eaten! Mac and cheese, chicken fried steak good too. Meats are salty though, so drink lots of water. We left stuffed, which... more
