Fun place, great biscuits, great service

We decided to take a drive out to Loveless on our recent trip to Nashville. The drive took about 25 minutes. It was nice to get out of the city, and go to a laid-back place like Loveless. The biscuits were delicious. My daughter enjoyed watching them being made through the glass window. The service... read more

We've eaten here the last two times we were in Nashville. Both times I've ordered breakfast even though its been later in the day. The service is friendly and the food is fine, but really we go for the biscuits. They are the best I've ever had, Served with choice of jam, honey, butter or sorghum (molasses) I can't get... More

We did not eat at the restaurant, but it did not appear to have as long of a wait as people were stating in the other reviews. We took the food to go because we were getting back on the road. Food was delicious. I ordered the biscuits too and was surprised that they included several different jams -loved it!... More

It's not worth waiting almost 2hrs for 2 people. The food was good, but not as good as places like Beas in Rossville or Edna's in Chatsworth. I feel kinda let down after the anticipation of thinking it would be better. I had fried chicken and a BBQ biscuit. Not good BBQ. Biscuit was unique, but I didn't want a... More

When we got here there was almost a 2 hour wait so we left and came back and the wait was a little shorter. The food was amazing and the biscuits...well I could have eaten nothing but biscuits and been satisfied. I even bought a bag of the mix from the gift shop and if mine turn out even half... More

If you set your expectation correctly, then you'll have a wonderful time here. This is a great old-timey southern spot to get some good 'ol home cooking. Great for families with kids and great for a "comfort food" run with just about anyone. You can tour the grounds while you wait for your table (and you'll probably wait a while)... More

This was our second trip to Nashville and our second visit to the iconic Loveless Cafe. The first time we went was August 2014 on a Thursday and this time August 2015 on a Saturday. We had a good experience the first time but not great this time, perhaps because it was a Saturday and more crowded. The food was... More

Loveless is always good. Have been here multiple times and it's never been a bad experience. Weekends are really busy, but during the week isn't too bad if your in a hurry.

After waiting for 1 1/2 hour for a table, I was really hoping that I wouldn't be disappointed. I wasn't! The food was really good. I decided to go with breakfast but my friend had the fried chicken. I had eggs, grits, bacon and a side of had town casserole. I couldn't believe the grits were prepared the way I... More
