The Loveless Motel and Cafe first started serving its famous fried chicken and biscuits in 1951. A favorite spot to grab a good ole country breakfast for locals and tourists alike, today the Loveless Cafe serves more than 400,000 guests a year and makes between 4,000 to 7,000 biscuits a day, using founder Annie Loveless' original secret recipe. The Food Network awarded the Southern eatery with its best biscuits award in 2010.

visiting this place was the BEST idea ever! I ordered the country fried steak with eggs and the hashbrown casserole. it came with biscuits and homemade preserves. everything was amazing, but the peach preserves were the treat of the day! I definitely will be visiting again. :)

Interesting, unique location. Food wasn't the best,, but it was fine. The wait was over an hr. so we got takeout and sat on a picnic table in the shade. It was fun. Shops were good, everything is highly overpriced. $18 for peanut/bacon brittle? You can also get a lot of their things at the airport.

Friends introduced us to this famous restaurant for breakfast. Our server brought the renowned hot biscuits & home made jams as soon as we sat down. Delicious. No wait as we arrived early. The pulled pork white omelet with side of fried tomatoes got my vote. Friends loved the smoked ham, sausage & grits with red eye gravy. The BBQ... More

Having seen the Loveless on the Food Network multiple times over the years to say we were looking forward to our visit is an understatement. We visited early Easter morning and thankfully there was only a 20 minute wait. All the staff were friendly and polite, the shops were fun to look through while we waited. We had an assortment... Absolutely adore the Loveless! Best biscuits ever and tasty jams with the blackberry being my favorite! Always get the fried chicken biscuits which are just perfect little packages of pleasure. Breakfasts are great too! Outstanding, friendly service. Give this wonderful cafe a try if you're nearby.

we were here two different times. The service was very good both times, the biscuits are great and the food was promptly brought to our table. I had grilled catfish and it was excellent, my wife had the chicken and it was very good.

Love the food and the atmosphere! It's a must for vacationing near Nashville. It was a few miles out of the way but well worth it. Love the old Motel sign!

We stopped by here late morning on a weekday, hoping to outsmart the crowds...but no. The Loveless is ALWAYS gonna be crowded. I live nearby, I should know :) We always take friends, relatives, etc., here when they come to visit us. The service here is always excellent. Friendly, fast, attentive, what else do you want? The prices are high...there... More
