We ate between lunch and dinner or Linner. They had told us about 2 hours but it was only about 45 minutes. We all thought the food was good, but some thought Uncle Buds was better the other night. Excellent service. We would definitely eat here again, but wouldn't wait if they said 2 hours even though it was faster... More

Service and smiles, but just average food. Two hour wait for this landmark? Fried chicken was moist but just barley tasty. Mushy Mac n cheese, breakfast platter should have been hit out of the park but was from the freezer. Grits need a lot of work. Jimmy dean sausage is better. Fried okra was just recently thawed. Fried green tomatoes,... More

Worth the scenic 25-minute drive from downtown Nashville. A short wait allowed us to walk the property which used to be a motel. The rooms are now shops, which can be dangerous for the pocketbook if the wait is too long. We visited after normal lunch hours, at about 2 pm and still had a short wait. But when seated... More

The made from scratch biscuits are hot, fresh, and amazing (you can actually watch them being made through the window). The servings are large and quite tasty. The service is excellent. Worth the trip when you visit Nashville. You must go - you will not be disappointed! This makes Cracker Barrel look like a rookie and puts it to shame... More

We have been several times. They seem to have bottomless biscuits! Even have a window to watch where they are handmade. I have not been for lunch, always breakfast. Always crowded! They have added a couple of shops, where you can purchase endless Loveless Cafe food items, kitchenware and apparel. Never disappointed!

The cafe is pretty famous for their home style cooking and large portions. Very intimate music venue behind it with periodic live radio shows. VERY NASHVILLE

Stopped in for lunch while visiting a friend. Having family in Nashville, I've been here many times and it never disappoints. This is "home cooking" at its best. The fried chicken is just too hard to pass up, so I almost always order it, but breakfast is served all day and it is equally good. The sides are truly home... More

My family and I stopped here recently on our way home to Austin, TX from KY. It was an early morning stop so we were lucky to get a table right away. The place is very quaint and historic. Fun to look at the photos all over the walls of famous guests. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. Our food... More

My family enjoyed this stop. This is what we all look for in a roadside restaurant - character, great service, choices for the entire family, breakfast all day, uniqueness, etc. The biscuits and jam were excellent (5 stars), the ribs and pulled pork were very good. The breakfast plate was pretty good. We were there midweek and after the typical... More

– best ever breakfast meal. Portions are huge, … keep those fresh biscuits coming, and the fresh jams in all the flavors. The hash brown casserole is absolutely delicious. Startling to watch the walls decorated with pictures of all the people that have been there. Stop at the shops and you will not leave empty-handed with all the mouth-watering goodies... More
