We made reservations for Friday night but the restaraunt was not crowded. The restaraunt is in an Atrium surrounded by lush gardens. Although the hotel was crowded and noisy the waterfalls muted the background noise. (It was like dining outside only with air conditioning!) The wait staff was very courteous and service was quick. We ate at Cascades for breakfast twice. Yuck. Pretty place, poor service, bland, fatty food. Skip it. Take the free shuttle over to the mall and eat there. more

So I ended up eating her 4 different times as it was in the hotel, I had the breakfast buffet, appetizeres and a beer and two dinners. All were excellent. I had a late lunch/early dinner here one day and I had the crab soup and quesadillas. And excellent meal and not too overpriced. I highly recommend this place over any of the other restaurants in the Opryland Hote. more
