I saw Bro's on DDD and was determined to try it when I went to Nashville. The owner is a transplant from New Orleans and was there sitting down and talking to regulars, which was cool. I had gumbo, which was awesome. The homemade Andouille sausage was very good. I had the crawfish poor boy and... read more

This food is delicious. This is the only red beans and rice I've in Nashville that actually tastes like it does in Louisiana. My husband got a stuffed pork chop, and it was also good. We got the boudin balls for an appetizer, and if you go, you should too. I know a lot of stuck-up types will complain about... More

Let me start by saying I don't usually eat rice. My husband ordered a side of red beans and rice. It smelled wonderful. I asked for a taste and finally as the waitress walked by he asked for another order. I had finished almost the whole thing. then the shrimp po boys came. Words can't describe the taste! Don't let... We stopped here specifically because of our love of Guy Fieri. We missed it the first time due to it looking like an old, run-down house. It definitely put the "dive" in Triple D! Feeling adventurous, we tried it despite it's "unique" atmosphere. It was fun that Bro was sitting at a table visiting with everyone as they came in.... More

We try to hit Triple D restaurants when we can and made a point to try this place on this trip. We were there on Friday evening - Crawfish Friday!! All you can eat for $7 a pound. I thought I wanted a pound, but the waiter talked me into 3 - should have split the difference and ordered 2... More

This place was so bad I thought I was on a hidden camera TV show. We were seated downstairs basically in a kitchen. The waitress was yelling in front of us at people to help her. The man that served us was extremely unprofessional and rude. He set our drinks at the other side of the table for me to... More

Cuisine. . .NO, too fancy a moniker for Bro's fare. Good food and plenty of it, YES. A fan of all things Louisiana, I'm not! But the Shrimp Po-boy I ordered today, prepared and served by Darrell's family way, was hard to beat. Fresh crusty bread so full of shrimp and the trimmings, I could hardly get it closed for... I've been eating Darrell's food for the past 25 years and have enjoyed every meal. Although I have never been to Louisiana, I have to assume the food is nothing but authentic because there's nothing else like it. It's different than anything you've ever eaten, and it's better than most anything you've ever eaten. It's truly THAT good! Now, if... More

This is not a fancy restaurant. The dining area is small and could stand a good cleaning. The food is good but there are better places for cajun style, although the gumbo is hard to beat. Service is fast and friendly. Prices are good. I would return.
