We went there to enjoy some live music in Nashville. We were not disappointed with a great band playing rhythm and blues with talent. The food was also really good, we were 7 and every one of us enjoyed his meal. The cherry on the top was the beer really well made. The waitress helped us choose it by letting... More

Ok so after a big road trip or coming from the other side of the world like us , just mellowing out with a relaxed atmosphere, good beer and homely comfort food is like going home to Mums. Sue had the half Chicken with the bacon peas and mashed potatoe. I went for the Shepherd pie with spinach, garlic topping,... More

We were there on a Tuesday night, which is pint and pie night. That means that you can order a pint of beer and a shepherd's pie for $11. Two people at our table ordered that...one got the meat version, and the other ordered the vegetarian version. Both enjoyed their meals. The portions are large. I ordered the chicken pot... More

Have never been to Nashville before but will definitely go again! The town has an eclectic mix of neighborhoods yet is modern urban in many ways. This restaurant, recommended to us by our hosts, is tucked away in East Nashville, a re-gentrified area of the city. A Laundromat (!) in its previous life, it only has seating for maybe 60... More

One reviewer said "unassuming" and others speak different praises...okay, all justified. The food was great, so as a restaurant it deserves five stars. The beer on tap and by the bottle were pretty exotic; okay, I can do exotic but I chose the only light beer the bartender-in-chief said they had..Amstel Light. No problem. What was a problem was that... More

If you are looking for fancy, then look elsewhere. This place is a great little neighborhood bar and restaurant, with a very eclectic interior and a diverse crowd. The Saturday night jazz session is wonderful, but get there early to get a seat as it can get pretty crowded by 8 PM.

Don't judge a book by its cover! This is an unassuming spot on an unremarkable corner in East Nashville. Inside, however, you will find a complete treat. Soul-satisfying comfort food (especially the shepherd's pie) and live folk music every night. Enormous fun.

Had a fun time on Saturday night. The food was excellent. Everyone in my party said they would repeat their order again. Bangers and mash, the chicken philly sandwich, and pizza were all winners in my group. I had the shepherd's pie which I was disappointed. I've had better. A large variety of beers and wine to choose from, however,... More

Had heard about this place for some time in East Nashville so went there with out of town guests to try dinner and catch some music. We had been told that the shepherd's pie was a "must try". Well, I have been to four different places that serve shepherd's pie in Nashville and this is a very distant fourth. It... More

I enjoyed their shepherd's pie, along with the environment. It's not in the safest part of East Nashville so make sure you lock your cars, etc.
